To: Leadership team at TransGlobal Airlines From: Erika Rivera Donate Date: December 17, 2023 Re: Performance Evaluation TransGlobal airlines was founded in Miami, Florida in 1951 and currently has 40,000 employees. TransGlobal offers flights to 242 places in 52 countries on 6 different continents. The services they provide are business class, economy, first class and luxury flights. Compared to American Airlines and Southwest, TransGlobal is in a second place. The yearly customer increase for them is 27% with a retention rate of 8%. TransGlobal is considering buying two small aviation firms in the Caribbean, specializing in chartered flights for luxury vacations using light aircraft of 60 passenger or less. This memo is intended to identify strategic goals and key performance indicator to help evaluate the company’s performance. The objective projection for TransGlobal is to lead the industry in three important areas: safety, excitement and stewardship by 2030. TransGlobal is re-introducing safety the MAX 737 aircraft and upgrading the ticketing experience and reservations including smartphone apps, and integrating apps associated with lodging, ground transportation and attractions. They are working on other areas to achieve the projected goal, addressing workplace inequities and build and inclusive culture, train every employee in the basics of FAA’s SAS via 2-hours web-based training. With these areas of improvement, it will build brand awareness and loyalty. The key performance indicator that will be use to track revenues, customer service, employee satisfaction and safety will be internal processes and another one for learning and development.
