Web 2.0
Over the past 10 years, many significant changes have been taken by the appearance of the new Web 2.0 which turns the web culture into a new page. This new platform brought us a new way to share information, connect communicate, accomplish the business transactions, and foster creativity and cooperation among users. Instead of the dominant of web creators and the owners of web company, the new Web 2.0 focuses more on user that allow us, varied participants, to create, design, and control the content of the Web while deliberately interacting with other creator and sharing our thoughts, our personal interests and our inventions. With the arrival and new dissemination of Web 2.0, the controversy increases. Personally, Web 2.0 made the online experience more convenient, enjoyable and free than ever before.
First and foremost, one of the most notable breakthrough of the Web 2.0 is the improvement in search engines including Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Tim O’ Reiley convincingly stated about the new experiences that Google brought into our life in his article “Web 2.0: Design Patterns and Business Models” rather than providing information though selling an owner product of the older company like Netscape, in the Web 1.0. “Google, by contrast, began its life as a native Web application, never sold or packaged, but delivered as a service, with customers paying, directly or indirectly, for the use of that service. None of the trappings of the old software industry are present.
I was also directed from Google.co.uk to a number of personal and private blogs and forums that satisfied my search criteria. All these Web 2.0 tools greatly assisted me in completing my task and equipping me with the knowledge to do these again in future. “Web 2.0” is a term coined by Tim O’Reilly in 1999 to describe non – written script web pages. They allow me to improve my knowledge base and develop working understanding of IT systems through the use of Blogs, podcasts and Videos.

These communities are now so integral to our modern culture that they are used for more than just people discussing interests online. Reddit has given has given content creators, business men, and politicians among others to manage and monitor community activity. Filmmakers/television executives use these communities to monitor the fan base of their respective media. They monitor these communities to look at fan feedback, to see what fans like or dislike about the media they are associated with. This is common in television shows as television executives need to know what fans are thinking about the show overall or the season currently airing so they know what to improve on or what the fans want.
