Want To Be Remembered

Legacy to me means, after you die what people think of you. It means every little thought someone had in their mind when you died. It means what people will always remember you by. I want my legacy to inspire others and make them feel like sometimes the only thing you can do is give kindness. I also think quirkiness can be a great legacy too. To me, kindness and quirkiness is the key to life.

I really see myself as a humble guy, and an honest one. Some may even say I am brutally honest (at times). I'm great with communication, and I work well with others. I believe anything can be solved with teamwork, and I'm always willing to put in more effort to make any community a better one. I'm very easy to approach, and no player should have any issue coming to me with issues or just speaking with me in general. I have a fantastic memory, which goes great with planning things as well as remember past players and their past behavior.

Throughout my high school career I have tried to impact the lives of those around me while also learning from those around me as well. Over the four years I have attended my high school,I have grown into a person who is now more attentive of the different people, opinions, and cultures that surround me and this in turn has allowed me become more open-minded. This would be the legacy I hope that I leave behind. When I graduate from school and consequently leave my community, I hope that I have left a legacy of growth. That my experience can be an example of someone else because it is my firm belief that the greatest legacy one can leave behind can be a legacy others can learn from.

There is no knowing what my legacy at UC Irvine may be, but I will describe what my goal is for the next four years. Of course it includes doing well in all my classes, however I would like to accomplish more than that and at a deeper level. I would like to work with other students to make our community become more united than it already is. Fitting in is one thing, but making others feel welcomed is much more important. College is a place where connections and ties are established and everyone should be able to do so. It would be of great pleasure to join groups where as a collective we help not only each other, but also the community around us. Personality wise, I am honest and try my very best in going towards my goal. A legacy can be describe as many things. Some people leave good legacy but also bad ones. A legacy is the only thing many people remember you by. Many people have the legacy of being a great doctor or a fantastic husband. I would like mine to be about the positive things I did in life. Even when I made mistakes I want people to remember I always tried to fix what I did wrong. Well for me I would like my legacy to be good. Whether or not a person admits it, everyone on the planet has the desire to be remembered. They want to leave an impression on the people around them and leave those people with fond memories of who they were and what they did. For me, the idea of making an impact on someone’s life was my ultimate goal. However, it took me a while to discover how exactly that goal would be achieved.
