I can really relate to the topic and completely understand the problem of balancing work with school. I think therapeutic journals are a good option for clients to vent their feelings. However, I would have phrased the task differently by stating, "Let's try this exercise vs. homework." Some clients may feel overwhelmed, if it seems like they have too many tasks to complete.
