As you requested at our September 25 meeting, I have research numerous techniques of keeping health care information organized. The program that has been used for years to keep the patient’s health record protected, seems to have numerous of glitches. As many of you know we are known for keeping our customers at our best interest, I would appreciate your input on which programs would you feel comfortable working with. I would like to note that I was required to choose an affordable budget for the new program, which will be under 5,000 in order to meet the guidelines of the department. Only a small portion of the budget was used to purchase the software for the program. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that this program would meet the requirements

When you see a solider in his or her uniform, you are proud that they are serving this country to protect our freedom, securing our country, and defending democracy worldwide. The solider can come from different branches of the Military. The one you might be familiar with is the U.S. Army. These soldiers are well respected and prepared to serve our country whenever and wherever needed, combat-ready at all times, and trained to counter any threat, anywhere. In 2007, the United States Army department published a recruitment ad for U.S.
Do traffic signals make a difference when drivers are conducting their vehicles? In U.K. the roads have less signs and are smaller roads than in the United States. The United States has great amounts of traffic signals and symbols all over the road to make the driver more aware. In the U.K. accidents do occur but not that often has in the United States. In the Unites States every second there is huge amounts of accidents going on over the nation. John Staddon in his magazine article “Distracting Miss Daisy” tries to persuade that traffic control is making traffic more dangerous because we do not pay attention to the road, but to the signals.
The primary election for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians is to be held Thursday, September 3, 2015. This momentous occasion happens every four years. The elected chief and officials, such as council members, can run for office for as long as they see fit, for there is no term limit. Our past chief, Michell Hicks, was in office three consecutive terms for a total of twelve years. This year Hicks has decided to step down and the new candidates for chief are Patrick Lambert and Gene “Tunney” Crowe. These new candidates must be able to fill the role of a generous and successful leader to those of the Cherokee nation. The platforms of both Lambert and Crowe are used to persuade the public to vote in their favor and are extremely versed in the
Nat Turner: Mr. Garrison I do wish I could agree, but few of these men (looking down at Fitzhugh and calhoun) have shown no respect for god.
For my third writing project, I have decided to create a research proposal, directed at the USC Rossier School of Education in order to get them to accept my dissertation examining the gentrifying effects of neighborhood preference in charter school lottery systems. This proposal is effective because it employs rhetorical strategies appropriate for the target audience – in this case, a committee of professors that are knowledgeable about the subject of the proposed dissertation. These rhetorical strategies include the structure of the document, stylistic choices such as academic diction and tone, and the choices regarding the content of the proposal.
From elementary school to high school, I was taught that my writing had to be structured and follow strict criteria. After I arrived in Mr. Mukherjee’s ENG 102 class, I was given the opportunity to express my creative freedom through words and graphical pictures. It can often be difficult and challenging to improve upon my own writing abilities unless motived with an idea in mind. When looking back on my time at ASU, I thought about the goals that I wanted to address for myself and the course goals that my instructor had set for the class. These goals include ones that I had accomplished to the best of my ability and ones that I need to address as well as improve.
Daniel Bor, a psychological researcher, and author, wrote an article titled “When Do We Become Truly Conscious” published on September 4, 2012 and in this article he discusses the idea of consciousness. Through use of deductive reasoning Bor refers to early opinions viewing consciousness as magic and discusses the science behind demystifying consciousness. Bor also discusses the ethical arguments behind learning for about consciousness. Bor also lists some of the emotional arguments centered on human awareness. Bor’s use of rhetorical strategies is designed to state his opinion in a simple and easily read way.
A rhetorical aim that illustrates that issues on gun control would be to analyze and interpret. Suggested from the two articles; “Why the U.S. is No. 1 – in mass shootings”, and Not just guns: New study looks at why the U.S. is No. 1 in mass shootings, most mass shootings are a result of the deteriorating American Dream. The rhetorical aim, analyze and interpret”, offer readers a different approach on a specific subject matter. For instance, prior to reading the two texts on America’s advancing gun control issues, it was believed that mental illness would be the root cause for mass shootings. However, these two articles have offered different insight on why America is the leading country of mass shootings. Fame, can persuade Americans into
English classes are very important if you want to pursuit your academic goal, and there are a lot of things that I learned about academic writing in this semester. At first, I thought that it was going to be easy as long as I kept doing my brief assignments on time and showing up in classes. However, I was wrong, English is hard, especially if you are an international student because the methods of writing an essay are different. Though, I decided to take English 1301 because I wanted to be able to write something that would make it easier for a reader to understand, and of course to make me get good grades in other classes assignments. Also, because I didn’t know the difference between writing a rhetorical analysis essay and writing a normal
Children need guidance to become successful in life. One exceptional man wrote about the wrong type of parenting that causes children to be unproductive. In this article, he talks about how these styles can ruin a child’s life, because they are not being taught to be survive everyday life. Throughout this piece, the audience begins to understand his argument, because he uses many examples and rhetorical questions to persuade the readers. During the reading, he also brings up that severe parents are overprotective, since they think they are helping their children become wise, but they are actually afraid of teaching them about the necessities of the world. Furthermore, he supports his idea by saying things such as the wrong type of parenting
The author states that fuel cell engines have several advantages over internal combustion engines and will replace them and provides three reasons. In contrast, the professor states that the reading argument is optimistic about the fuel cell engine and it won't replace the internal comustion engines and she opposes each of the author's reasons.
As part of the upper class in our global community, I cannot even begin to understand what living in extreme poverty and hunger must be like. While people in poor, undeveloped countries work all day at backbreaking jobs for just enough money to feed their families, I attend school to enhance my education so I can continue to enjoy the privileges of my wealth. My family is actually considered to be in the lower-middle class in the United States, but we still have two cars, a three-bedroom townhome, and disposable income we use for recreation and various luxuries. Compared to those who live in extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa, I live like a king. It would be nothing for me to donate 100 dollars to a charity foundation such as Oxfam that feeds the hungry to save some lives, but should I?
In the paper Sharon M. Malley and Lynne B Silverstein wrote entitled Examining the Intersection of Arts Education and Special Education. The pair asked the question of how do we bridge the gap between the arts education and special education fields to insure that students with disabilities get the most effective education available to them? First the researchers gathered the other research on the subject too see what had already been collected by their peers. They found a lack in the type of research that showed just how much the adition of Arts education in the special education classroom could benefit the ESE student. Despite a great deal of pathos supporting their case these papers used to support their cause their meaning fell short.
Let’s begin with our speech taking us to Western Europe. In Europe a lot of the doctors used liquids to indicate your personal health, these liquids were known as the four humours. The four humours that came from your body would be yellow bile, bile not being the liquid in your kidney used to digest food as it is known today, but urine or vomit, black bile, excrement, blood, and phlegm, basically mucus. You would desire a balance of all of the four humours, if there was an imbalance with them they would be responsible for your sickness. Often having too much blood would be stated as the reason to the cause of your disease and ailment, so usually a doctor would administer leeches to you or employ the process of bloodletting to achieve a
