First of all I would like to thank you for the time and hard work you put in this semester to teach my classmates and me. This semester I learned a lot in your class such as APA style writing, how to write different format essays and Bloom’s Taxonomy. In your course I not only learned how to become a better learner but also a better person. I still remember how nervous I was feeling the first day of class. This was my first semester attending college, which made me feel worse. When I was in my senior year of high school, I learned a little about writing in APA style. In your course I learned that I was making some mistakes when I thought I was using APA style the correct way. Something that I considered to be very helpful for me was getting the help from the librarian on how to use APA style using different kind of sources such as books, newspapers and videos.The yellow sheet he gave us in his presentation was allot of help throughout the semester because I would always use it when It was time to do writing assignments. Learning how to properly use Apa style was very helpful for me because now I apply those skills on my assignments and I do a better job than before. Now I feel way more comfortable and confident while writing. Before learning the proper way of using APA style I was always unsure If I was giving credit to the sources I was using. I'm planning on applying this writing skill in and out of class to have a clear and smooth writing when It gets to give credit to sources.

At the start of the semester I struggle using the APA format and it showed in my essays.
Furthermore, in the second semester we also had a research assignment. Within this assignment, we had to create an auto bibliography of our resources. This was great, because it helped me know how to properly cite a resource. Knowing how to cite in APA format, was beneficial for my progression to reach goal #4 and my other courses. For example, if the course did not cover how to properly cite in APA format, I would have incorrectly cite resources for other class assignments as well. With the knowledge of how to properly cite in APA format, it will be a great use in my future college
Elizabeth, like you this is my first time as well writing in the APA style format. Honestly until starting this course I had zero idea that there was even a writing style for writing papers of this nature. I vaguely remember the first, second, and third person perspectives of writing a paper. I know that I will need to do research for future papers, and cite others. But knowing the proper way to do so is something I will be learning as we go. The use of the correct terminology, concepts, clearer languages, and punctuation will be a learning curve again for me. References and giving people the proper credit I see the need for, now to learn to do it correctly.

In order to manage my time as a student, a routine schedule will have to be developed that accommodates all aspects of my life. APa formatting will make our articles and essays reliable, as the reader will know exact source of information. It will also give credit to the author and the publisher. In my opinion that it's our way to thank the author.APA formatting allows us to avoid plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious academic offense. At Bethel University there are serious consequences for not crediting the author and the source. They can be anywhere from begin on probation to failing the class.
AP English Language and Composition is the most challenging class I had ever taken, and I’m grateful that I had you as my teacher. Before your class, English was never a challenge for me, and since I was subpar in other subjects, such as science and math, I viewed English as my only redeeming quality as a student. After your class, I realized that English was not “my” subject either. While I struggled with meeting the standards, I appreciate your patience and willingness to stay after school to review my essays with me. After going through my essays with you, I felt a renewed resolve to improve. Thank you for also being understanding. I share the same concerns on my writing as you. The APA guidelines are a continuing source of learning of rime. It is a goal of mine to master the APA guidelines. Regarding the course writing assignments I appreciate the Rubics. It serves as a map for me when I am completing my writing assignments. The Rubic also helps with the flow of my papers. When I am writing my assignments I approach my paper as a puzzle and allow the Rubics to serve as my guide. It is easier and less complicated for me to research, write and compile my paper. American Psychological Association (APA) writing style exists for a reason and this reason is because writers' must give “credibility where credibility is due”(Walden Writing Center, 2015) . During my BSW program I learned this and also, the importance of integrity in college level writing. In my opinion, two aspects of APA that I think will not challenge me are direct quotations and listing references. I have to admit I prefer to quote intellecutual matter directly rather than, use paraphazing. I believe this is approriate to do if the quote you utilize is short and all of your agrguments regarding, the content of the quote, are your own ideas. Another thing that will come easily to me is listing my references. This comes easily to me because during my undergraduate education, I excelled in this area. The reason for this is because everytime I wrote a reference page I always refered to my courses APA manual.
I have learned many things throughout the course of the term, including such things as: how to write an essay and how to improve on essays that I have already written, how to locate and composite better research through the use of numerous resources found at the campus library, the internet, and the “Common Sense” textbook, how to cite research, examples, and quotations properly within the contents of my research paper as well as document it accurately according to MLA standards. Since the beginning of the semester, my writing has changed and evolved to accommodate and sustain longer essays. With longer essays, there is more room for in-depth analysis. Further analyzing a topic has led me to findings that I did not know existed. As I continue to write, I uncover addition and superior methods to approach my writing to the benefit of me and therefore, my audience. Throughout the semester, I have incorporated techniques to further my narrative throughout my writing.
