Final Paper
The two organizations I will be focusing on throughout the course are two organizations I have actually donated to. The not-for-profit organization is the American Red Cross and the for-profit organization is Cancer Treatment Center of America. Being in the military and having a family member to have passed from cancer, these two organizations are dear to me and my family.
The American Red Cross of America is the type of organization that produces products to support disaster relief, supporting the military families, health and safety training and education, blood drives for lifesaving blood and

The best solution I will suggest will be a bailout. This will give the government the opportunity to monitor the finances of the ARC, allow the people that are employed there to continue working, give them the opportunity to hire the workers they need to properly work there and the FDA will have better control of the blood supply and how it is handled.
The way the American Red Cross is responding to these problems are not in an ethical way. They are merely attempting to cover their own selves, which is leaving a lot of people out of a job and overworking other individuals. This is only leading to more poor storage of blood and when a disaster does strike, they do not have the full capabilities to respond in a timely manner. The ARC did create this unethical problem by not being totally prepared for the disasters that occurred simultaneously and with using the money they had saved for the disasters as severance packages for the incompetent CEO’s they had to get rid of over the past ten years. The American Red Cross could have done so much more by foreseeing the trend of the disasters that were occurring during the time and keeping a shorter leash on the next CEO that they hired after the last one ended up
The American Red Cross (ARC) is an organization that was founded in 1881 by Clara Barton and established itself as the most well-known emergency relief organization devoted to the care of war victims, disaster victims, and the suffering worldwide. Unfortunately, the ARC has been plagued with a high executive turnover, slow response to disastrous events, and mismanagement of donation funds. These problems now have the ARC facing another problem, fixing their credibility for the future.
Whether it is a local flood or a national disaster, there is always one organization there to help, the American Red Cross. Each year the organization turns down no one in need, benefits 70,000 people in disaster relief, along with saving three lives every time a person donates blood. The American Red Cross has evolved through the years and is still known as one of the most important nonprofit organizations in the world.
Finally and most importantly you need to make sure you are financially prepared to pay tuition for the semester.
American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that works for the betterment of human life by providing food, shelter and assistance to the victims of several disasters; hence, the implication of the section 501 (c) (3) has a significant impact on the services offered by American Red Cross as it selects the organizations that qualify for tax exemption.
There are numerous reasons for the American Red Cross (ARC) ethical dilemmas. First, the ARC has a history of mismanagement of money for both executives salaries and monetary donations. The ARC has a history of awarding generous severance packages, even to ousted executives with short tenures (Ferrell, Freidrich, & Ferrell, 2015). Additionally, we have learned from numerous disasters where the ARC misappropriated monetary donations. For example, in Laura Sullivan's article, she describes the ARC's actions after the Haiti earthquake. The ARC vowed to help Haiti rebuild, however, years later, there is no sign of ARC's help. A search of the nearly $500 million in donations resulted in, "a string of poorly managed projects, questionable spending and dubious claims of success" (2015, para. 3).
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides significant help to those in need. The organization is a branch of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The organization’s initial goals were to provide humanitarian efforts and other relief during trying times. For example, many felt that the group was formed in response to the destruction caused by the American Civil War. Founder and the group’s first President, Clara Barton, believed that America should be prepared for future catastrophes, but there was widespread doubt that the nation would ever again experience anything as disastrous as the Civil War. Nonetheless, the organization was formed on
To raise more revenue, Nobody State University increases its tuition so, this would not increase the revenue but it would decrease the revenue. If one increase then the other would definitely decrease. No it would definitely not result into more revenue to have more revenue Nobody State University would have to decline some enrollments in order to increase the revenue. Most likely Nobody States University will not decline enrollment so the cost of tuition would definitely be increased.
Higher education costs have been increasing at a rapid pace, faster than inflation for the economy as a whole, for the past fifty years. It started in the 1960’s when the federal government passed the Higher Education Act to increase the amount of people able to afford and attend college. Regardless of the Unites States Government efforts to increase the affordability of college, federal aid programs have not risen to expectations due to the ever-increasing college prices. To lower the price of college, the government needs to cut back on student financial spending to go only to the lowest income families and create tax incentives for families to start saving up on their own.
The American Red Cross is a nonprofit organization that prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies through six key areas; disaster relief, lifesaving blood, training and certification, supporting America’s military families, and international services. The American Red Cross has both a mission statement, which defines their objectives and approach, and also a vision statement, which defines their vision and future goals. The mission statement of the American Red Cross reads “The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The American Red Cross’ vision statement reads “The American Red Cross, through its

One of the thousands of humanitarian groups and probably the most well known is the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross does many things for our community and nation. One of the things they do is prepare. This is when they might go to homes or go to different buildings to install fire alarms. Or if there is going to be a flood they might g\o and help people sandbag their house. Not only do they prepare but they also respond.
According to College Board, the US public four years universities have average increases from $4399 to $9410. It is comparison between 1995 and 2015. It shows that the tuition fees had increase in 100%. Nowadays, we can find a lot of living costs are increasing which indirectly led to the inevitable increase in tuition fees. However, the growth of education tuition fees is much faster than the growth of our living costs. The increasing of the tuition fees is denying the rights for students to learn. In the United States, most of the students are having pressure in affording the tuition fees in higher education. They are only young adults with less money saving, the expensive tuition fees become the biggest obstacle to change the student’s fate.
The American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that helps those going through a crisis. This organization also provides services and relief during emergencies to alleviate suffering. This non-profit is well known throughout the world and has existed for a very long time, over 130 years (Red Cross). Services offered through the American Red Cross include but are not limited to disaster relief, blood drives, CPR classes, and services to the Armed Forces. The American Red Cross would not be as successful or exist over 130 years if they did not have a solid mission, vision, and base the organization off their fundamental principals.
