Read Raina and the Wolf
There once was a kind girl named Raina Brown who lived in a time where the song Waterfall by TLC blasted on the radio and everybody wore denim and flannel. She loved the color red so much some people even called her Red Raina. By the time she turned nineteen, she had already experienced the scariest thing that could ever happen to someone and it all started when Raina’s mother told her to deliver a basket of baked goods to her sick grandmother.
“Raina, make sure you get these to your grandmother, and don't get distracted!”
“Mom, I won’t, don’t worry. I’ll be fine.”
Raina left the house and set out on her mission. Walking down the sidewalk, she felt a shadow following her every move. Then, when she least expected it,

She then remembered the small dagger in Grandma’s kitchen and knew what she had to do. She called 9-1-1 and reported the situation. Then, she tiptoed to the back door that lead into the kitchen and quietly opened the door. Raina felt that her heart pounding was louder than the cries that came from Grandma. She heard sirens in the distance and knew it was time to act. She quickly grabbed the dagger and rushed into the living room screaming, “Leave her alone!” Raina saw the robber and knew her prediction was correct. “Why did you eat her!”
Raina was interrupted yet again when two police officers broke their way in. Upon hearing this, they acted quickly, cutting open the wolf’s stomach. As soon as they sliced him open, Raina had to turn away in disgust. By the time Raina opened her eyes again, Grandma was free and the wolf was in handcuffs. There was a large cut going down the wolf’s stomach and blood was spilling everywhere. Raina couldn't help but think that if she had listened to her mom and not gotten distracted, like she promised, then none of this would have happened.
She ran up to Grandma and gave her a hug and when she did she noticed that one of the police officers was staring at her. He had big brown eyes that any girl would be crazy not to fall in love with. By looking at his name tag, Raina learned that his name was Jamal and thought, “What a beautiful name for a beautiful person.” When the whole situation was over, Raina nervously walked up to Jamal to thank him for saving Grandma. After their conversation, the two of them exchanged numbers. They have been together since then and seem like the perfect
The wolf stopped just inches away from Todrick. Suddenly sirens erupted around the corner and swarmed around Todrick and the wolf. The wolf quickly turned his attention to the cars that screeched to a stop. Men in padded uniforms stepped out with weapons that ordinary police officers didn’t carry around. Todrick got up quickly, “Sir step away we have animal control here ready to put this beast down.” Todrick quickly stepped in front of the wolf, unaware of how close he was until he felt the hot breath down his back. “Wait, don’t shoot!” Todrick called out holding up both of his hands. “I know this is all out of the ordinary
She felt a chill run down her spine as she had a sense that someone was watching her from afar. Slowly turning to look behind her, she looked out in the distance of the woods by her house. When she felt certain that no one was there she proceeded the rest of the way to her front door.
I walked to the room at the end of the hall that led to the attic. I slowly placed my foot on the first step, calling out for Nancy. When I finally reached the top, I saw a long haired woman standing by the window with her backed turned to me. "Chelsea? What the hell are you doing here?" She was holding an axe in her hand and I started backing up, with no intention on going any further. She turned around and to my surprise, it was not Chelsea at all, but Nancy. She had blood rolling down her forehead, from the scalp that was ripped from Chelsea's head. "Oh, Dear," she said. "You gave me quite a fright." She started walked toward me. "What do you think?" She asked, running her fingers through the

As fast as she could, she ran there and saw the wolf mauling at her precious children. At this time, the children were already dead and there was blood dripping from around the wolf’s mouth. The wolf then ran away into the wilderness with the family’s

She hurried away from the window, fearful that the thing would look up and see her watching. She scurried into the closet and closed her eyes, praying that it wouldn’t get inside. The girl heard feet hit the floor near the window and knew it had entered her tower. She peeked out through the slats in the closet door and gasped at what she saw.
The creatures, giant paw pinned her against the silver wall, she screamed out in agony as it seared her flesh. She latched her fingers around the creature’s arm and tried forcing it to let her go to no avail because the moment it released her, it sank its sharp teeth deep into her neck. Adelaide cried out in pain, she gazed upward to see her parents frantically trying to break the witches protective dome around the arena.

She had blood covering her from head-to-toe, including her fingers, which creating crimson patterns against the glass. The girl looked terrified, her eyes widened and mouth wide open in shock. She screamed again, which shook Lauren from her stupor.
So she started to build her shelter. Once she was done with her shelter, the workers went inside and just talked to Susana about survival and how great it was so she wouldn’t get worried and afraid. Well that didn’t work…… Susana was still afraid and nervous. “ Ok Susana just go to bed and everything will be alright.” Susana told herself calmly. So she went to bed in her little shelter that she made………. Suddenly Susana woke up, she could’ve sworn she’d heard a sound. “Stay calm.” She thought in her head. She heard another sound, and another, AND ANOTHER! It sounded like something was scratching and roaring so loud Susana couldn’t hear herself think! She panicked so much, and she didn’t want to wake up the workers. So what did she do; she ran away, far, far away. She didn’t know how, where, who, or why she was just running for her life. Then, she stopped and she didn’t know where she was. She did not see signs or anything. So she starts freaking out, panicking, screaming until she
Suddenly, a scream louder than a dog barking for food could be heard. She turned around and there she was. Her daughter.
The rain was still coming down in sheets . She thought she saw a shadowed figure move from behind a tree, but she brushed it off as the rain and tears clouding her vision. Even though she didn't think much of it she couldn't help the bone chilling shiver that ran down her spine.
Allie woke up and came to consciousness, elated to realize it was simply a nightmare. Her room was pitch black as she gazed around the walls of her room. Rain pounded against her window and thunder was booming off in the distance. A sharp crack of lighting lit her room. With the flash of light, Allie saw her mother covered in blood laid back in a chair across the room. She leaped out of bed to find help, only to see her blood stained father’s grinning face blocking the
Hunger made her stomach rumble like thunder, but still she hesitated as she watched the girl. Her instincts were telling her to act quickly, before something else did, but she found that she was reluctant to do so. She was no friend to humans. The wolf had witnessed their cruelty firsthand, when they stole her pups and slaughtered her pack, but there was something different about this one, an innocence the others had not possessed. And, perhaps, the wolf saw something in the child that reminded her of herself.
She decided to look down for the rest of the walk after getting glared at by a passerby. As she was watching her feet and skipping over the cracks in the pavement, something had yanked the back of her jacket. Whipping around, Becca saw a shambled family. They were tan and soaking wet; their cardboard home shaped the background of the frightening portrait Becca was faced with. A wave of angry words, desperate words confronted her, echoing without meaning her mind. The mother of the two children fell to her knees weeping, pleading for something Becca would never exactly know. The daughter, the girl Becca realized pulled her jacket, stared at her. Dark chocolate colored eyes were melting with the heat of her pain and her brittle lips smoked with the speed of her pleading words. Becca was being pulled away unknowingly when she heard a familiar rumble coming from the pit of the girl’s stomach. And just as soon as the encounter had happened, it was over. Concern replaced the sound of desperation and she let her family know she was fine. She went back to looking at her feet. In a couple of minutes, Becca’s family arrived at the
