Gift Shop Inventory
Date Modified: 7-28-2010
Week:5
Part 1: Introduction (due Week Two)
a) Application Summary
I selected the Gift Shop Inventory application.
b) Database Software
I will use SQL 2008 Express Edition. This software closely resembles the software I use at work. I am familiar with the flexibility of this software. I am very comfortable in using SQL 2008. SQL is also one of the industry standard RDMS.
c) Database Design Elements Prior to designing my database, I will have a clear understanding of the data. This will allow me to determine the purpose of the database. Once all information is

The ERD represents conceptualization by end users of what the database has to offer. As a database designer, it is important for you to use the ERD tool so the components, attributes, entities and relationships are clearly visible. The ERD tool will held database designers make sure they are capturing all required data and that all tables needed are built around that data.
b) Entity
There are seven areas of development in the EYFS. The seven areas of development and are split up as three main areas and are physical development, personal, social and emotional development, communication and language. The other four are still important but not detrimental as the other areas and they are Understanding of the World, Literacy, Arts and Design and Maths.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 is the primary piece of legislation covering work-related health and safety. It sets out a lot of your employer’s responsibilities for your health and safety at work.
Political parties mobilize voters to win elections and implement policy goals. Parties use their stated policy goals (i.e., their platforms) as a way to mobilize voter support. Generally, in order to be successful in a two-party system, parties must have policy goals across a broad range of issue areas to appeal to a broad range of voters.
Read the textbook. Do research on databases. All answers should be analytical, using IGEA and MLA. Please use own words/original thought, not regurgitation of facts. This is the expectation all year.
AB266 was presented by Assemblywoman Neal. The purpose of this bill is to allow employers to deduct Family Medical Leave wages paid by the employer to an employee who has taken leave under certain circumstances. The amount of the deduction is equal to the Family Medical Leave wages paid during that period and allows that deduction against the amounts reported for the calculation of certain taxes. The Department of Taxation submitted a fiscal note of $86,147 in FY 18 and $61,477 in FY 19 based on the original bill. Assemblywoman Neal noted that the amount of the deduction is limited to $500 per employee per week with a maximum length of 12 weeks.
3. Design an algorithm in pseudocode to solve the problem. Make sure to include steps to get each input and to report each output.
Mr. A. is a 56-year-old man who was diagnosed with PD 8 months ago. He reports slowness with walking, a tendency to drag his left leg, and limited swinging of his left arm when he’s walking. His neurologist started him on 1 mg daily of Azilect, a drug that helps relieve tremors early in the course of the disease. Mr. A. works full time and does not currently exercise. He heard that exercise may be helpful for people with PD but doesn’t know which exercises are best for him and how much he should exercise.
3. Specify the standard transmission distance and transfer speed for the wireless technology you identified.
Your sister owns a small clothing store. During a conversation at a family dinner, she mentions her
The experience of illness is unique to every individual. Alongside illness, a perceptual state of uncertainty is felt amongst patients undergoing the processes of diagnosis, illness, and treatment within the illness trajectory. “Our Ends Are Beginnings”, a digital drawing by ParadisiacPicture is an art piece that depicts the experience of uncertainty through two ways of viewing the image. Appendix A depicts the whole image, Appendix B showcases a cropped version of the image to highlight the perspective of the girl falling from the orange sky into the water, and Appendix C is cropped in a different variation to show the girl soaring in the dark sky towards the city below. The multiple ways to view this image encapsulates the potential for
Task 7 (P7.1) – Explain how you have met the end user requirements. Explain how the functionality and operations work.
Data management is vital to any business as this is a key tool to an organisations business improvement, as you can refer back to data, and compare them against benchmarks. Analysing data can provide evidence for possible future structure such as identify trends, as well as indicate where improvements can be made. However there are strict procedures to be followed when collecting and storing data.
a. Database Design: Database means stored a large collection of information and database design means development of a quality data model. Database design is the process of transforming a logical data model into an actual physical database. Database design is always connected with application design. Types of database design are:
In the logical database design phase we build the logical representation of the database, which includes identification of the important entities and relationships, and then translate this representation to a set of tables. The logical data model is a source of information for the physical design phase, providing the physical database designer with a vehicle for making tradeoffs that are very important to the design of an efficient database.
