In the mid-1500’s, the two families closest to the Le Court, Trinh and Nguyen dynasties, parted from one another; causing the Vietnamese politics to crumble and divide into even smaller pieces. Not too long after, the entire country was forcefully segregated. Although the people believed that the Le Court obtained power in the country of Vietnam, the Trinh and Nguyen rulers were calling the shots behind the scenes. Northern Vietnam was governed by the Trinh, and the Nguyen was in control of the South. The separation of these two families brought hatred, violence, and strife.
In the year of 1771, the expansion of the Nguyen dynasty had been abruptly interrupted by multiple attacks from three brothers. The brotherhood had come from a region in
The article "Han Dynasty (206 B.C.–220 A.D.)" will help me write my paper because it focuses on the main events that occurred during the Han dynasty. Although the other databases we discovered today do a thorough job of summarizing the Han Dynasty, it can always help to have another source of information that provides a few additional details.
Before the 1900th century, various countries such as China and France dominated the country currently known today as Vietnam. Entry# 1: Good day journal, I have ventured further into my research on the Song Dynasty, I have learned very much about the landscape, geographical features, and much more like some major epochs of their time and even some quotes directly from some of the people living there. To start the song dynasty lasted from 960 to 1279 A.D. they lasted 319 years “Their climate had a very diverse range, ranges from tropical in south and subtropical in the north. The terrain is mostly mountains, high plateaus, deserts in the west, plains, deltas, and hills in the east.”(Embry 4). This is what I observed and mentally noted while I was touring the Song Dynasty. “Emperor Taizu began reigning in the year 960. His capital was in Kaifeng. During his 16 years of rule, he instituted successful policies and won his wars of expansion” (Wu 7). This was something that a local had told me about emperor Taizu. He further on explained to me about his resilience and how he expanded his land with intelligent war tactics. The Song dynasty was an era of Chinese history that began in 960 and continued until 1279. It succeeded the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, and was followed by the Yuan dynasty (Benn 0).

Vietnam in 1954 was a country that had nationalism flowing in their veins after the decades of being under French and for a short time the Japanese rule. All the Vietnamese wanted was to be its own country. The North started fighting back the French and did whatever they could to take back their homeland. The French were beginning to feel this under the numerous attacks the Vietnamese started against them. A number of nations met to determine how the French could peacefully withdraw. The Geneva Accords came from the meetings and a cease fire was initiated. The French left and their was a temporary division along the 17th parallel. A democratic election was to be held in 1956 that would reunite the country under one government.
The emergence of the Vietnamese people can be traced to the fifth or sixth millennium B.C. The Vietnamese or Kinh ethnic group was formed in a region that is now northern Vietnam and southern China, which is the main ethnic group in the country, accounting for about eighty six percent of the Vietnamese population. Modern day Vietnam was established through French colonialism which led to an outburst of problems between the French and Vietnam. When the French left Vietnam in 1954, numerous Vietnamese people migrated to France. North Vietnam began a policy to forcefully reconcile the country with South Vietnam. However, conflict arose which introduced America to fight against Vietnam in the 1960s. As a result of the division between North and South Vietnam, nearly
China is the world's oldest civilization, with recorded history from almost 4,000 years ago. In that time it has had many dynasties such as the Qin dynasty, Han dynasty, Sui dynasty, Zhou dynasty, Song dynasty, Yuan dynasty, Ming dynasty and Qing dynasty. For 300 years China was divided into three kingdoms: the Wei, the Shu, and the Wu, but they reunited during the Sui dynasty in 581. The last of the Chinese dynasties was the Qing dynasty which started in 1644.
For centuries the Vietnamese people resisted being controlled by their powerful Chinese neighbors. They struggled to unify their country as an independent state. Ultimately they freed themselves from China 's claim for control of political authority and achieved national unity only to fall victim to French imperialism (Anderson 1). French ruled Vietnam and neighboring kingdoms as colonies from the nineteenth century to the twentieth century. Japanese occupation of Southeast Asia during World War II influenced the Vietminh war against the French in 1945. September 2nd, 1945, Ho Chi Minh declares independence from French rule shortly after Japans surrender from World War II (www.history.com). France 's rule over its colony was incredibly brutal and exploitative (Anderson 6). French colonialism deprived the Vietnamese of their political independence, and it impoverished many of the Vietnamese people (Anderson 7). Many villagers lost their lands and became low-paid plantation

Vietnam is a southeastern Asian country that has been occupied by the French since the early 19th Century. During War War II Japanese forces invaded Vietnam. In order for the native Vietnamese to fight off both the French Colonial Administration and the invading Japanese, political leader Ho Chi Minh inspired by Soviet Communism, established the League of Independence of Vietnam. After Japan’s defeat in World War II in 1945, the Japanese withdrew their forces from Vietnam. The French educated Emperor Bao Dai was now back in control of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh saw this as an opportunity to finally gain control and almost immediately took control of the northern city of Hanoi. Ho Chin Minh declared himself as president. In hopes to regain control of Hanoi, France backed Emperor Bao and created the state of Vietnam in 1949. Although both sides wanted the same goal of uniting Vietnam, their government views were drastically different. Ho and his followers wanted the nation to be modeled after other communist countries. While Bao and his followers wanted their country to be in close ties with democratic countries in the west. These causes led to a civil war for the sole control of Vietnam.
After the decline of the Tang dynasty, a second more seemingly cowardly dynasty arose, the Song. Although very faint hearted in nature, this
While there might not be a real tangible reason why the qing dynasty collapsed, some people start to lay the blame on the western force. Personally, although the Western force may appear culpable, I believe it is unjustifiable to claim that it directly led to the destruction of the Qing dynasty. Rather than the western force, I believe the internal conflicts within China, and also the Qing dynasty itself are the greatest instigators for this downfall.

Forced labour was brought upon the Vietnamese people, and there were many tyrannical Chinese governers along with constant demands of tribute for the Chinese rulers. There had been many revolts by
