They work closely with aboriginal people to restore eyesight. Living in outback or dusty areas can effect your eyes from dusty build up. 6 They connect through a wide variety of things such ads on websites, newspaper, TV and local events. They use pop up adds on websites with the logo and some information that attracts you to want to learn more. This helps spread what they do as well as show people how their donations are helping.
Non-government agencies have a specific role in our communities, and comprise of either individual organisations with specific issues, (eg. Heart disease, asthma) or whole populations, (eg. Aboriginals, people with HIV/AIDS). They offer specific knowledge, experience and access to individuals in need of assistance. These services are contracted out by the Government, but are funded both privately and by the government also. (Public Health in Australia 1998)
My first step of this project was creating flyers that I hung up in the park near my house and passed out to my neighbors. I also texted family and friends to see if they were interested in donating. All advertisement/donations

Ever since this foundation started, they have made certain that the funds go to legit places that will rehabilitate, foster, and rescue Horses, given to therapies and Horseman programs. They always give large enough donations to the chosen charity to actually do something that will make a difference. The money doesn't just come out of nowhere, this charity does a spectacular event to raise money. Though the events are different every time, this year the have an event in Fairfield County Hunt Club,CT. The way it works is that you donate money. If you donate over $250 then you get a seat at the Grand Prix nothing up front, but you still get a seat and you would enjoy a show while helping a good cause. The more you donate the closer seat you get at the show, if you donate $2,500 or more you get a front row seat at the show. You are fed in a luncheon fashion while you watch the Grand Prix with your family and friends. Then later there is a auction to raise even more money for the good cause. Even though this money raising event is far away in Connecticut, I believe this is a very important charity to help for the sake of humans and the sake of

Not for profit organisations consist of organisations that are not run for the profit or personal gain of individual/s. They are often referred to as charities and provide benefit services to society, often encouraging people to band together by sharing resources to achieve a common goal. Profits can be obtained by these organisations but must applied for the organisations purposes. These organisations include Surf life-saving, Churches, and Salvation Army etc. (Sessoms, 2014).
Using the information gathered, we make brochures, posters and other marketing materials that describe the fundraising, services, donation opportunities, and values of our organization. Then we develop a social media marketing strategy. Social media such as Twitter and Facebook provide us with ways to reach out to those interested in our organization in a low cost and effective way. We also have our own radio show that has weekly discussions on the topic.
Their main aim is to distribute food to all those who cannot afford it due to several reasons. Our mission is lived out every day through seven projects that are all aimed to serving mankind. Apart from distributing food they also help the community grow by providing them support and helping people so that they can find economic security. They also provide opportunities for people to gain knowledge and involving them in tasks that will enable them to grow both inwardly ad outwardly. Some of their projects that they are involved in are Atlanta Prosperity Campaign, Atlanta’s Table, Community Gardens, Hunger 101, Hunger Walk/Run, Kids In Need and Product Rescue Center.
That leads me to wonder once someone has learned about this organization. How much can that someone get involved? A woman named Natalie said I would first want to go and observe to see if it is an area I would be benefit to the children to help in anyway.” Its sound like this person would at least look into Operation Smile a bit more. Another woman named Jessica said In the absence of lack of money to give, she would be willing to collect for children, toothbrushes, crayons and toys.”

According Fred Hollows Foundation(n.d) the foundation uses the internet to help people fundraise in their own special ways such as a birthday party or a sports event. The foundation also makes partners with the schools as they partner with social studies teachers so as to raise awareness on what the foundation does and what are the problems in the countries they service. They also get up close and personal by getting or recruiting volunteers for face to face fundraising.
Non-governmental organization (NGO) is not an organization of government or a conventional for-profit business. In China, NGOs are silently different from the definition of general NGOs in which some of them have closer link with the government. There are two types of NGOs in China-“officially organized NGOs” and “popular NGOs”. The former are initiated by the government and the other one are initiated by private citizens and receive no government subsidies. However, we are focusing on the development of NGOs in China, so we are not going to discuss the differences.
NGOs perform a variety of services and functions: Humanitarian information to governments on the concerns of their citizens to monitor government policies and promoting political participation at the community level. They provide analysis and expertise, serve as early warning and help monitor and implement international agreements. Some are organized around specific issues such as human rights, the environment or health.”
An NGO cannot become a branch or affiliated with or connected with any organisation or group of a political nature established outside of Kenya. An NGO is required to benefit the public at large and promote social welfare, development charity, or research in areas including but not restricted to health, relief, agriculture, education, industry, and the supply of amenities and services (NGO Co-ordination Board, 2012).
With the declining role of the state in social welfare and social services, NGOs are increasingly gaining attention and prominence and are looked upon as alternative agencies in promoting awareness, change and development in society. After Independence we find with launching of planning for development, the voluntary sector have had official status and has been recognized as right agency to plan, implement, evaluate changes that have to be undertaken. Voluntary organizations are known by names like people’s organization, non-governmental organizations, grassroots organizations, action
