The benefits of completing these goals are experience in academic research writing and understanding the thought process that is required for the type of writing with-in our chosen professions. For example, learning how to write research papers will prepare me my career in grant writing. As stated in the syllabus it is important to create a research project that can analyze the type of writing style needed in my discipline. I have done some research on the job
Reading the syllabus for English 111 nothing surprise me about it. I usually expect to see these policies and rules been enforcement for a safe environment for learning. What I will do to be successful in this course is show up to class of course, be on time and make sure I have the right materials for reading and writing throughout the semester. The types I skills I believe you need to do well in English 111
Upon entering Columbia College, writing was one of my weaker areas. It was very important that I gained the necessary knowledge and confidence to become a better writer. I didn’t know how to express myself and felt as though my writing was not my interest. As a result of taking English 101, I have gained a better understanding on how to properly research and build a satisfactory paper. Every paper that was assigned seemed like a struggle to complete. Before entering this class, I did not know the meaning of a thesis or why it was important, however, I obtained this skill quickly. I noticed that every paper has an argument and the thesis helps clarify the rebuttal. Now, I have a new outlook on writing. It’s a way to express my thoughts and allow others to see things through my eyes. There is no doubt that I still have a long way to go, but I know if I continue to write, I will get better. Just as I developed more skills in class, the various papers assigned helped to better structure the writer in me. In addition, the subject areas were not only interesting, but very informative and made it much easier to write about my experiences.
Over the past year I had a chance to develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to develop successful paper. Taking English 1010 was a great experience because it prepares students on becoming better writers through college life. Even though this is my second year in college I was unable to take English 1010 the first year, but taking this class truly show me what college professors are looking for when we are ask to write a successful paper. College professors expect every student to be able to evaluate each topic and be descriptive in their essay.
In this writing project I learned to write a story with a purpose and show my readers a learning movement. By using different kinds of writing tools I could give my readers a more complex story. I learned how to write by showing and using details (the senses) to really give my readers a deeper understanding and emotions. I also learned in how you prepare for writing an essay. The importance of building your idea (pre-write), write, revision, and finally editing the paper.
This year in our English 1010 class, we covered many different genres and types of writing. We covered how to write personal narratives, how to respond to other students and other forms of writing, and how to professionally write essays. Briefly, we touched down on how to write argumentatively and were also required to create an infographic, wish was probably my favorite assignment. Although I never thought of myself as a strong writer, I believe that this class has greatly improved not only my writing skills, but my thinking skills as well. This was my first English class to be taken through dual enrollment and I believe that it went quite successfully while challenging me as a writer.
Research types of writings at college helped me strengthen my writing skills because as I started to research on a topic, not only I learned more in depth, but also learned how to draw further connections outside of the course(class). I want to improve my writings in making correct connections and organizing ideas. Sometimes, I misunderstand the readings and end up making the wrong connections. In fact, my ideas are all over the place whenever I try to make connections, which does not clearly show that I have understood the assignment. These mistakes often led to downside of my grades. The most useful advice I received that helped me improve my writing is that “the word ‘writing’ actually means to put things together, so don’t be afraid of express your opinions in your writing your opinion.” This encourage me not to be afraid of writing and expressing my opinions.
the difficulty of strategy execution and the tools managers can use to make strategy happen. As the title
In English 1102 students will learn many different techniques throughout the course to understand and compose an analysis on an array of topics. After the course is over it is up to the students to apply what they have learned to everyday life. Many students throughout this course have questioned why they have to learn this material and that it will not even help them in the real world, but they are wrong. Each and everyday people should look at the deeper meaning and analyze situations very carefully or else one may find themselves being deceived. Being able to analyze is a very important skill no matter what career choice you choose. In this course the material assigned also had many life lessons in them. A great example of a reading assignment

I think that research based writing is a vital aspect that a college student should be proficient at. Research allows someone to learn more about a certain topic, and it allows them to inject their own thoughts and opinions regarding it. Also, research based writing pertains to all different types of people.
Those White students who had a greater number of sexual partners, and those White students with more positive HIV testing attitudes “were significant predictors of HIV testing among White students” (2016).
