EDL 661 was probably the most changeling course to date. I am not familiar with law at all and when it came to having to research and complete case studies I was at a loss. With that being said, I do believe that through completing these difficult assignments it has helped me grow the most. I have learned how to properly read a case brief and understand the importance of law in education. I think that it will have a big impact on me as a leader because we need to make sure that we follow the law when we are leading a school, but we also need to understand how the law has an impact on how the school is run and how previous cases can have an impact on things that are happening at our schools, in our district, and within our state. The thing
Looking back at the first couple days in ENC 1101 I was absolutely overwhelmed and stressed about the amount of essay’s that were going to be done. I looked at the syllabus which provided all the work that was going to be done and I wanted to jump of a bridge. Not being fully prepared in high school didn’t help me with my panic. I truly felt in the beginning that it was going to be too hard and I was not going to make it. Through the class I learned many things, the first paper was a minor headache but it really helped me with thoughts, how an essay supposed to flow, and the style of a paper. Once I received a grade for the first paper, I was actually stunned and motivated. Being on the right track opened up my mind and I felt confident going
Before I began this course I thought that I was a really good writer and that I would strive in ENC 1101 with ease. I assumed this because I was always getting good grades in my previous English courses in high school. Most of my papers in high school I had got a high B or an A. But I got a big awakening when I turned in my first paper in ENC 1101. This is because I had assumed that I was going to get a good grade because I thought I had answered all the things that were listed on the rubric that you handed us. When I received my first paper back I was on the borderline tears that I had got a C. At first I did not understand what I had did wrong. After going back and looking at my teacher's comments I realized that I needed to provided more

This week I had the opportunity to purchase my EDAD 701 Education Studies Textbook for class. I felt very relieved to make this purchase because it was the last book on the shelf. During the previous weeks I made several attempts to purchase it on line but I fell short because the book would have had to been shipped from overseas and I couldn’t possible wait that long for a purchase. After I received the book I began interpreting Chapter 6 the citizenship education on black and minority communities. I haven’t concluded the chapter yet or discussed it with my partner but that process will soon be completed. From scanning the chapter I did have the opportunity to discover that this particular chapter was extremely stimulating because I could
Having the opportunity to hear other peers about their experience in applying for medical school was very beneficial. I found it very beneficial because I was able to connect with them. I was surprise to hear that not all of them knew that they wanted to purse the medical field. I found it very interesting to know that some discover their way to the medical field and how there interest lead them to choose what kind of schools to attend and what field to pursue.
I was proud today to ask our board for support in removing VAM (Value added Measure) from the teacher evaluation process. VAM was put in law under SB736 in 2011 by the then Florida Legislature and tied teachers pay to students’ grades.
All leaders and supervisors, Can anyone explain to me why a EGGCRATE OVERLAY 32X73X was located in the shower in the male lavatory shower area. This was seen early Thursday morning, June 9, 2016 when I arrived at 0600 . We had 57 in the inventory system and Main operation and sterile processing had only 2 eggcrates in E-leg. What is going on. We as leaders must pay more attention to leg maintenance. We have wet pads for the shower usage.
I have always tried my hardest in school, trying my best to make my parents proud of me. Have there been time when I could have tried harder? Absolutely. There have been many times where I have found myself slipping in my schoolwork, and I have always caught myself. There is one time in particular of my junior year that I won't soon forget.
I am on target with meeting the weekly milestone deadlines and the content requirements. However, as I complete the final synthesis paper I will edit the sections within Digication to reflect any changes made within the paper that are relevant. I have yet to upload a professional photograph, but when I have one taken, I will add this to the welcome page above the quotation image. When I began using Digication, it was time consuming to grow accustomed to how to maneuver around and complete tasks, which included editing the background, when customizing it to reflect my unique identity as an MSW student and an individual. Now that I have been utilizing it on a regular basis, making changes has become quicker to accomplish. The process of building my portfolio has helped me
During Williams S. Lawler’s eighth grade school year at Newport Middle School, I had the pleasure working with him in our social studies class which consisted of North Carolina History as well as incorporating US History. Throughout the course of study all elements of social studies were intertwined through our course of study. William excelled on all areas, but particularly with his major interests in the areas of civics/government, culture, and economic/financial literacy.
Furthermore, I really need to pass this course because after spring 2016 I would no longer be able to attend college to finish my degree and I am so close to complete it. Only have two classes left Math 113 and Biology 105 that I am in enrolled in for spring 2016. I was told by the Financial Aid department that I only have an enough money left for those two classes and supplies. I would greatly appreciate it if you would look at my record here at John A. Logan College and reconsider my grade in this Math 062.
In this essay I will analyze my abilities acquired thus far through my 515 course using my practice application sheet as measurement.
I realized that I have not been able to do many thing on campus this year because of school and work. However, ALD helped me become more involved on campus and in the community by encouraging members to take part in Community Service Events. I am really glad that I was able to volunteer at the ALD Basketball Tournament and met other members in the society; it was great helping out and enjoying the game at the same time. I am also really proud that we were able to follow through with our plans and making the basketball tournament a reality.
This is Tracy (Cuixing) He. I am a 3279, and I work at the Golden Gate Park Senior Center. Victor have told me that because of the changes that are happening in the recreation & park, I need to apply as a 3278 in order to work during summer. I wonder what steps should I take to apply for 3278.
The whole course has been absorbing and rewarding. The experience has made me think about the world differently. Studying with the Open University has reshaped my private life. This will be explained later in this review.
