Culture Definition A simple definition of culture is that it is the human response to the forces of Nature and History. According to the (World Conference on Culture Policies, Mexico 1982)Culture is “the whole complex of distinctive spiritual, material, intellectual and emotional features that characterize a society or social group. It includes not only arts and letters, but also modes of life, the fundamental rights of the human being, value systems, traditions and beliefs." PAKISTANI CULTURE

Many people visit museums to view antiquities. They enjoy seeing these relics of the ancient world as a way of understanding past cultures and sometimes connecting with their own heritage. This evidence was found in the passage, “Returning Antiquities to Their Countries of Origin” by Joyce Mortimer paragraph 1. Cultural artifacts should not be returned to their region of origin because some people don’t have enough money to travel to China or Brazil to go look at ancient artifacts from the past. So they should bring these ancient trinkets to places like America and Canada so people around the world can study different cultures to learn more about the life around use.
Being seen as a community leader in the offering of knowledge and learning opportunities, it adds value to the museum and forms a positive attitude among community members towards an organization.
What is culture? Culture is something you and a group of people share that are similar to one another. A culture is a way of life for a group of people and their behaviors, beliefs, values, and symbols that they accept, generally without thinking about them. Pakistani culture consists of many different ethnic groups, languages, gender roles, and religions. “It is the world's sixth most populous country, has an estimated population of 176 million. The annual population growth of 2.1% resulted in the population quadrupling in the past 50 years with 41% below age 15” (Marvi & Howard, 2013). The different ethnic groups that Pakistani culture consists of are, Punjabi which is the largest ethnic group, Pashtun, Sindhi, and smaller groups, Pakistan (2017). Due to the diversity in Pakistan, there are many languages spoken in Pakistani culture. English language is primarily taught in the schools. Another largely use language is Urdu, “which is the nation's unifying language”, Pakistan (2017). There are many other languages used in Pakistan which usually correlates with the ethnic group one is a part of.
This paper is an analysis of the single cultural artifact that best represents the culture in which I live in today. The paper will provide a detailed analysis of the artifact and how it relates to the values and beliefs of the culture. Additionally, it will address the deep cultural roots of the artifact, the historical roots of the artifact, what allowed it to come into being and who was affected by its development. This information will come as someone trained from the humanities.
To start off, a Natural History Museum is usually a place where the public can visit to obtain knowledge on the history of the earth and its inhabitants. Much about people’s culture and customs is found in a Natural History museum, especially people that have made a difference or played a role in history that we learn today. Therefore, the Indigenous peoples are represented in these precise museums. The indigenous people have various amount of customs that are even used today, however, the fact that many of their descriptions are led by the word “histor” or “ancient” almost makes the guests at museums believe that these indigenous people are no longer alive, and that is incorrect. The key objective for a Natural History museum is to simply help connect the understanding of human beings, connections based on culture, communities, to the earth and to each other. My definition of culture is your environmental and social background peered with your experiences. Culture is an essential ingredient in forming identity and self-awareness. The environment can create One's culture that they reside in, the way they are raised, or a collective of blended surroundings.
The purpose of the cultural artifact is to demonstrate good communication skills and work on ways to perfect it. After my speech is a way for me to reflect upon my progress of public communication by getting feedback from my audience or classmates on area that I may need to improve up on.
