Inputs to the System
Each location will have their own transaction processing application that is constantly collecting products dispensed and patient related information. This information collectively, is used as input to the Management Information Systems.
Outputs from the System
Typical outputs from the system would be a daily report that provides a checklist of the inventory held in each location. Another output from the system would to provide a trend for peak hours of operation to assess the need for allocating resources.
Decision Support Systems – for Home Depot (2)
Purpose
The primary purpose of this system would be to have the ability to discover any unknown trends, for example, why are sales up in the East Coast. Another purpose would be to provide the ability to forecast behaviors based on historical factors.
System Users
Typical users of the system are Senior management reporting to the Chief Operation Officer who has the authority to make strategic decisions for Home Depot.
Inputs to the System
Transactional Data generated by the Home Depot stores will be extracted, Transformed and Loaded into DSS. These form the inputs to this system.
Outputs from the System
Management Information Systems for Home Depot will be the output for DSS. They will generate standard reports and forecast of sales. Another output of the system would to help in the discovery of unknown

However no personal rapport whatsoever may provide the receiver of the information with the impression that the sender of the information is just not interested. A fine line must be weighed up for each individual. When a good rapport has been achieved, then the person will uncritically accept suggestion or advice which they are given.
Target Corporation allocated large budget to upgrade information system as part of a roadmap to transform business (Target Roadmap, 2015). Once the upgrade is completed, it will provide a large amount of intelligent data for internal resources to support customers faster. It further tracks performance and controls accurately the timely information about daily operations in real time. The automated online and on-demand ad-hoc reports generate reports for each store any time as well retains records of products and services.
Lowe’s is a home improvement warehouse that was founded in 1946 as a single store and since has grown to become the second largest in the world. As technology has evolved, Lowe’s has made many advances incorporating new systems and devices to stay competitive. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the information technology management systems used at Lowe’s. It will look at Porter’s Five Force Model, supply chain management; data base management system, five agent-based technologies, e-commerce and system development lifecycle. Furthermore, it will look at business continuity planning, emerging trends and security vulnerabilities relates to the organization to remain competitive.
Nestled in Southern Indiana just west of Louisville, Kentucky and south of Indianapolis, Indiana is Dubois County, Indiana. Dubois County is comprised of the towns of Birdseye, Ferdinand, Holland, Huntingburg and Jasper. Of those towns, Jasper is the largest and is the county seat (Kelly School of Business, 2014). Over fifty-two percent of the population consists of adults ranging from 25-64 years of age (Kelly School of Business, 2014). DC company continues to look for ways to leverage the collected data but wants to ensure that the information technology infrastructure will support the expected growth that the company is anticipating. DC company currently collects data using Web analytics and combines it with operational systems data. During this process they converts data into data storage where it is later recalled and analyzed. DC technology includes a list of various software, database, consulting and hardware.
