Good post! I liked your description of Firo-B as it relates to human interaction. I agree with how we express ourselves and expect that same expression from others, but we sometimes ignore the negative communications with others and expect them to response in a positive way. My experience with poor communication skills have been horrible and it is always upper management they tend to hold a position and thinks it gives the power to be “invincible”. Firo-B is one of the assessments I recommended to my employer to help with communication. Self-awareness is a good start to help someone build strong teams I believe if you know yourself and strengths, weakness you will be able to address others in a productive
After investigating all available data it became apparent that although the organisation has a customer service system, it seems to get ignored. Staff is unaware of it and senior management don’t seem to be monitoring it closely. No performance management has been completed this quarter nor does it appear that it has ever been completed which clearly shows that sales and customer service team leaders are not conducting required performance management.
