Personally, I've been recently inclined to propose a arm-chair sociological phenomenon that I have noticed, so bear with me if you can. SJW's: "A person or group that is so self absorbed with their own ideals, they'll do anything within their power to enforce it"(my definition), or any group using sentimental/moral values as a means to manipulate, restrict or silence people are innately detrimental to society. They try to enforce social order according to their selfish ideals, and will fight to either push their conservative beliefs religiously on the right side of the spectrum, or shout all of the "ism's" from Racism, Sexism on the liberal spectrum which a lot have hijacked. Evidently, my thoughts are that they're both the same people,
cause harm to the race they deem damnable because of how the individual was raised or the
A political ideology plants the social and political beliefs of a group. The two sides of the Texas Political ideologies form the basis of how our politicians will play a proper role of government in our state. Between the left wing and the right wing differences do exist. The left wing is liberal and the right wing is found to be conservative. Being said, the left wing beliefs in moderate changes and government involvement. Between being liberal or conservative, very controversial topics exists that are very important to our daily lives. Liberals believe that the government should take action to reach equality for everyone. For example liberals stand for freedom of religion, immigration, and government powers. They push for laws that offer
Hatred, abuse, social injustice, and general dislike of an individual or group will never be controlled or extinguished through any means of education or political mandate. These terrible practices are part of the human frailty of life, and can be found among every ethnicity and culture. While it should never be condoned, it cannot be eradicated.
It ruins the day to day cooperation, promotes hate and war among neighbors, social injustice practices, decrease the rate of productivity at work, and promotes fear and tension in our lives. It is destroys what we have built, and argues that the quality of a human being is based on the color of their skin and not the content of one 's behaviors and acts. According to Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary, Racism is defined as, “a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race”. It is the most arrogant form of pride. It can be cultural, systematic, individual or even institutional. On the other hand, there is stereotypes. Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary defines them as, “an often unfair and untrue belief that many people have about all people or things with a particular characteristic. “Racism and stereotype are often confusing and many people have misused or misunderstood one or the other while others have argued that stereotype is a form of racism.
A stereotypical libertarian would be a guy around the age of 18 to 22. These men feel the need to have a controversial opinion like “Legalize Recreational Heroin”, “Taxation is Theft”, or some other outlandish statement. This group only identifies as libertarians because libertarians are obviously secret liberals or conservatives trying to pander to the other side. Libertarians are hardcore capitalists, and borderline anarcho-capitalists, with no care for poor people, because in the words of Ron Swanson, a fictional character on the show Parks and Recreations,“ Capitalism: God’s way of determining who is smart and who is poor.” Obnoxiousness is in the blood of a libertarian because libertarians obviously know what's best for America and everyone
Social injustice is any issue when unfair practices are being carried out in society. Social injustice effects many groups today, especially minorities. Societal isms are the prejudicial attitudes directed against groups that society identifies as “lesser”-less capable, less productive, and less normal.
To what extent do traditional conservatives and the New Right differ in their views on society?
We believe all women have the right to decide what to do with their body’s and support the pro-choice movement, we are in favor of increasing the number of immigrants and refugees that enter this country annually, we believe the government should begin regulating business practices as to not further harm the environment, we believe in stricter regulations for those wanting to acquire a gun, we believe all people have a right to a higher education, no
Conservative (most Republicans) is a political and social philosophy that promotes retaining traditional social institutions.
Conservatives want the power that if there were to ever come a time that society wants to overthrow our government, we have that option. They don’t want to have to rely on the government for everything. Especially when it comes to protection. Conservatives would much rather be self reliant when it comes to protecting themselves against
Conservatism is defined as the belief in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society (Merriam-Webster). Another definition of it is the dislike of change or new ideas in a particular area (Merriam-Webster). So most of their policies are rooted in tradition and history, generally keeping things the way they have been in the past. Another one of the ideologies they have in their party's Fiscal Conservatism this means they are pro-big businesses and think you should have low income taxes and also they want to deregulate the economy (Justin Quinn). From this economic ideology it goes hand and hand with their main stance on making a smaller government to control less of your life. Also they generally would rather keep things the same than changing
They believe that immigrants and foreigners want to come to America to take over and take away everything they love. The fact is though, they’re not. Immigrants do not come here to hurt this country. Refugees do not come here to hurt this country. It’s usually white people that have a problem with immigrants, but they too were immigrants at one point. They too left a country trying to kill them so they could have religious freedom and no longer be afraid. Just because they’ve lived here for an extended period of time, doesn’t mean they get to dictate who should come to this
Second, by not interacting or making an effort to talk because of their social class, religion or race. Third, by accrediting whether people are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ according to their color (this kind of racism is the most triggering issue among the minorities and accelerates them to revolt which leads them to taking violent decisions life that could ruin them). Four, implying that the minorities are not the same kind of people as they are. Five, identifying hate with a series of judgmental notions against minorities.
Similar to this, is how the society of the World State has conditioned the populace so that modern social attitudes have in fact been phased out of existence, even to the extent of something as basically moral as concern for others’ welfare:
Society, without even saying a word, has given us rules and guidelines that we have to abide. Social norms are rules or guidelines regarding what kinds of behavior are acceptable or appropriate within a culture. They are so embedded within our daily life that often we do not notice them. Because norms are so ingrained within our society, deviation of social norms can lead to be ostracized or even arrested depending on the situation. Violating norms, like promoting hate message about poor people, in society can be explained through the functionalism theory.
