I chose to do my research project on the health care systems of Brazil and compare it to our health care system here in the United States of America. I have always been drawn to the country of Brazil and was curious to see what similarities and differences existed if any on the topic of health care. As I investigated further into my research through online articles, news reports and interviews, I became more and more curious as to how an entire country with such a high poverty rate had a successful health care infrastructure.
