It's crucial to have a code of ethics to assist you decide what is morally right to do. By creating a personal code of ethics, you may ensure that your actions are just and responsible. Additionally, it aids in demonstrating to people that you are a moral individual who holds dearly held ideals (Lang, Macfadyen, Slade, Prinsloo & Sclater, 2018). These are qualities that will benefit you in relationships and at work as well as in other areas of your life. Building more trustworthy relationships with others around you can be accomplished by acting morally. In all facets of your
personal and professional life, a code of ethics can help you identify the values that are significant to you. Having a personal code may also make it simpler for you to recognize a business or position that aligns with your values. If you have your own set of moral standards, you can contrast them with those of a potential employer.
