A1. 1.
The new post of Brand Manager will be an integral part of the company's continued growth. In the following year, Endothon will likely grow to more than double its size, and it will need someone with expertise in developing and strengthening the company's brand. The salary between the marketing manager and the advertising and promotion manager was set at a median level to keep it competitive. The Brand Manager's job description is similar to those two
positions. This role will be responsible for all company marketing and sales activities and will significantly impact the company's ability to achieve its objectives. This position also reports directly to the partners and is the next level of the organization after the partners. Based on the
responsibilities, training, and skills required for this position, the Brand Manager's salary was set at $125,000.00, the same as the Lead Software Manager's and Human Resources Manager's salaries. 2. As the company's future growth depends on sales, Endothon is looking for an experienced sales representative with a demonstrated track record of sales. This was determined by the requirements of 50% annual travel, a bachelor's degree, three or more years of experience in product sales, and one or more years of management experience.
1
After evaluating the market rewards survey, it has been determined that Sales Representative 1's salary will be in the median pay range and that Sales Representative 2's salary will be in the 25% market range. 3. See #2

B1. Strategy: No green or red circles.
If Endothon had employed workers with green circle rates, it would have to pay them at least a minimum of the salary level in which they worked. An increase would be granted to all employees in the restricted range to move their salaries closer together. In the case of red circle rates, Endothon would cap the pay at the maximum rate and would not grant them an increase. These employees would be entitled to an annual discretionary bonus based on their performance and the company's performance. They would have to be promoted to the next pay grade to be eligible for an increase, or there would have to be a change in the remuneration or salary grade for that post.
B2. The level of experience required for success in the post shall be considered when setting pay levels. To provide a clear path for advancement consistent with wage growth, I have considered
the progression of each role. Attracting and retaining employees requires competitive pay and 2

Ed Sabol, a once unhappy coat salesman, had a passion for filming his son's high school football
games and other activities. Word of Ed's filming abilities soon got around and he found himself
working a number of local high school games. This led to Ed's successful bid ($3,000) to film
the 1962 NFL championship game. Then Commissioner Pete Rozelle was so impressed with the
work that he agreed to Ed's proposal to create a new entity known as NFL Films that would both
preserve the history of the game and promote it to the nation's sports fans. NFL Films' creative
approach to the game has resulted in 82 Emmy Awards to date.
Ed retired in 1987, turning the reins over to his son Steve who has taken the company to new
heights thanks in part to his empowering leadership style and product innovation. The company
now has a 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility.

One of the largest privately-held staffing companies in the United States, the client’s team includes more than 8,000 internal employees and 90,000 contract employees working with customers around the world.
While the client’s core business growth is phenomenal, they are also diversifying into new industries, such as health care. This growth puts tremendous strain on IT resources supporting the growing list of projects, from business-critical IT infrastructure to meet the ever-increasing demands of business growth. System enhancements are underway to standardize business practices across newly acquired business units. The CIO’s vision for the future of IT includes improved performance in delivering projects, while maintaining costs and holding staffing levels to the absolute minimum. Implementing a PMO seemed a logical approach to achieving this vision.
After an unsuccessful first attempt at implementing a PMO, the Company then turned to Project Champions’ expertise in PMO…
