What can I do to improve this paragraph, any additional information about socialisation I can bring in?   My opinions and thoughts about work are influenced through the socialization of the family. I have high expectations of myself during my shift. Whenever I did a task that did not reach my standards, I would antagonize myself and link it back to my self-esteem. Although I live independently away from my parents, their core values and views around work ethic are embedded within my physe. The family is the first agent of socialization, throughout my childhood my mum emphasized working hard and succeeding in school and work. When anything was not up to her expectations, she would also ridicule me. My mum’s values are influenced by her socialization process within Vietnam from her family and institutional and culture norms (reference). In Vietnamese culture, value success and handwork.
