    The Holocaust, lasting from January 30, 1933 to May 8, 1945, is arguably one of the biggest and worst genocides in history to date. Over 11 million people were murdered in total, six million being innocent Jewish people, and over 5,000 Jewish communities were destroyed as well, due to racism stemming from extreme nationalism and bigotry from the Nazis and their leader, Adolf Hitler. The Nazi party used strongly prejudicial propaganda against the Jews, and used fear to strengthen them as a party.
