Acculturation is a process through which two cultures exchange cultural traits among each other. These cultural traits impact consumer buying behavior and thus it is a very important factor in the decision-making process. It can be intentional or unintentional.

So basically Infusion of values from one culture to another culture is simply denoted as acculturation. The culture whose values are imposed on the other is the dominant culture and the other is called the weak culture.

For example- A Japanese company introducing its culture and way of working in its India subsidiary with the helping of training and inductions.
