Question

Background:

The hematocrit of whole blood is the percent of the blood (by volume) that is made up of cells. For example, if a person has a hematocrit of 40, it means that 40% of the blood volume is cells and the rest is plasma. The average hematocrit of a normal human male is 42 and 38 for a normal human female. The degree of bodily activity, anaemia, as well as altitude, are among some factors that affect hematocrits.
