Start by picking a pair of voltages for V1 and V2, then guessing a mode for each of the
diodes. Solve the circuit based on the modes and verify if the modes are valid. In other
words, you need to verify that i > 0 for a diode assumed to be "on" or that v < 0 for a diode
assumed to be "off".
Alternatively, you can start by drawing every combination of "on" and "off" for the two
diodes, then try to match the diagrams with the given information.
Note that it is not necessary for both diodes to be simultaneously on or off.
