Question

Explain Schematic of an NMR spectrometer ?

Expert Solution
Step 1

The principle of NMR spectrometer is that all nuclei are charged and most of them have spin as well. Under the effect of external magnetic field, energy transfer takes place from base energy to higher level. This wavelength corresponds to the wavelength of radio waves and when the emitted radiation comes to the base level, it emits energy of a certain frequency. The signal, that matches with this transfer is processed to give NMR spectrum of different nuclei concerned.
