ERP System Implementation
You are working for a Project Consulting Company as a Project Manager. Your current project
involves rolling out an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at Mzansi Property
Management company to assist in managing day‐to‐day business activities including project
management, reservations, procurement, accounting, risk management and supply chain
operations. The agreement with the client was to start with the reservation module with the
functionality including to:
 Search for a property to buy or rent
 Make a booking
 Make a payment via credit card/bank card
Your team has completed the design specifications for the module and have received approval
from the client (management representative) to begin developing on the project. The
Development Team has estimated that they would take 8 weeks to finish developing the module
against a budget of R750 000 for the reservation module. One week into development, you have
discovered that some elements of the design are incompatible with current infrastructure, and
you are compelled to stop development until a discussion has ensured with the client.  You have
tried to reach the client on several occasions; however, this has been unsuccessful. In fact, the
client’s last message to you stated that as a Project manager, you were being paid to provide
solutions and not to waste the client’s time with “trivial issues”

1. Besides the Project Manager, identify two other main stakeholders on the project
and describe their stake on the project.
