When referring to Howard Gardners Multiple Intelligence theory, does a certain culture have an influence on a certain type of intelligence?
Howard Gardner was a psychologist who proposed a theory on multiple intelligence. He worked on multiple intelligence. Gardner said that people does not carry all type of intelligence. They have some specific intelligence. He proposed that there is general intelligence that is common and found in cognitive abilities. Further he proposed eight different type of intelligence. These intelligence were described by Howard Gardner in 1983 in his book Frames of Mind. He told that we all people have such intelligence but explore only those based on our experiences and genes. He further said that intelligence is a bio-psychological process in which the information is excess based on cultural and solve the problems.
