William Henry Cuyler Hosmer (1814–1877)

Hosmer, William Henry Cuyler. An American writer of verse; born in New York State, 1814; died in 1877. He was a lawyer in western New York. He wrote: ‘Fall of Tecumseh’; ‘Legends of the Senecas’; ‘Yonnondio’; ‘Bird Notes’; ‘The Themes of Song’; ‘The Months’; ‘The Pioneers of Western New York’; etc.
