Wilhelmine von Bayreuth (1709–1758)

Wilhelmine [Friederike Sophie] (vil-hel-mē’nė), Margravine of Bayreuth. A distinguished German writer of memoirs; born at Berlin, July 3, 1709; died in Oct. 1758. She was the favorite sister of Frederick the Great. She wrote ‘Memoirs’ (new ed. 1845). (See Critical and Biographical Introduction).
