Joseph Sabin (1821–1881)

Sabin, Joseph. An American publisher and bibliophile; born in Bramston, England, 1821; died in Brooklyn, NY, June 5, 1881. His store on Nassau Street, New York, was noted for rare books. He edited the American Bibliographist; and published a ‘Dictionary of Books relating to America’ and a ‘Bibliography of Bibliographies.’
