Henry Alexander White (1861–1926)

White, Henry Alexander. An American historian; born April 15, 1861; after 1902, professor at Columbia, South Carolina Theological Seminary; died in 1926. His numerous publications include ‘The Pentateuch in the Light of the Ancient Monuments’ (1894); ‘History of the United States’ (1904); ‘Beginners of the History of the United States’ (1906); ‘Life of Stonewall Jackson’ (1907); ‘Southern Presbyterian Leaders’ (1911).
