Christine Terhune Herrick (1859–1944)

Herrick, Mrs. Christine (Terhune). An American writer on domestic economy; born at Newark, NJ, 1859; died in 1944. Her home was in New York. She wrote: ‘Housekeeping Made Easy’ (1888); ‘The Little Dinner’; ‘Liberal Living upon Narrow Means’; ‘My Boy and I’ (1913); ‘The A B C of Housekeeping’ (1915). She collaborated with her mother, “Marion Harland,” in several volumes on cookery.
