Why I Want To Be A National Junior Honor Society

I really think that I am very qualified for National Junior Honor Society. I have seen students of NJHS making things for the community and I always join or support them because I think that helping others is a need, not an option. I like helping people, I like taking leadership and I would like to encourage others to change the world, that’s why I think that I am eligible for NJHS.

I am excited to be one of the candidates for the 2017-2018 National Junior Honor Society. I understand that the National Junior Honor Society is for students who demonstrate exemplary scholarship, citizenship, service, leadership, and character. I believe that I have maintained a grade point average of 3.55 or higher and have shown all of the five given standards of the National Junior Honor Society. I believe that my involvement with the National Junior Honor Society will help me to prepare my future as a leader, character role model, and good citizen.

I have a passion to change people’s lives. Therefore I am deeply honored to have been chosen out of a few hundred to have the opportunity to be part of the National Junior Honor Society. This experience would teach me much more about being a leader. I feel I would be an important asset to your team, and I hope you will consider having

I would like to become an active member of Carrboro High School National Honor Society, because I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve and improve the community with other like-minded students. I believe it is important to balance academics, athletics, and community service. For example, this year I am taking 5 AP classes, running cross-country and track, and have spent almost 150 hours volunteering in the community. The first time I volunteered was when I raised a diabetic alert dog with my family. Even though I was sad to see the dog I had raised go, it was a rewarding experience because I knew that the dog would help someone have a better life. Anytime I can find an opportunity to both improve myself and the community, I won’t hesitate to seize it. I found the opportunity to do just that at both Shodor and CHCCS Project Graduation.

I feel very distinguished to be among the exemplary students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I strongly believe that this society does many great things in the society by helping many people and I hope that I can play an important role in improving the impression it has created.I would be excited to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it would present to me and allow to me to grow as a reputable person and do as much as I can for the greater good.

I have many great qualities: Some of these qualities are leadership, service, scholarship, and character. As a member of FCCLA I have been able to expand these skills and characteristics to be able to help the community. Having these qualities has allowed me to help give a hand when I am able to and when it is needed. Although I already have these four characteristics, being a member of the National Honor Society would allow me to expand these qualities. Becoming a member would allow me to be more prepared for college and my future.

Although I strive to exude this idea in the way I live, I believe that the National Honor Society would help me reach my full potential. While in

The National Honor Society has very specific goals they would like to achieve. These include creating excitement for academia, stimulating a desire for citizen service, building leadership skills, and developing character in students. These goals seem overwhelming at first, but upon deeper thought I discovered I possess many traits to help achieve these goals.

Being valuable is the main standard of my life. As a junior in John Bapst Memorial High School, I have the high desire to contribute my school into a more wonderful place. I hope joining National Honor Society could give me an opportunity on helping others achieve their goals, and a chance to help my school being stronger and stronger.

The National Junior Honor society, to me, represents the highest honor someone can achieve while in Middle School. Being accepted into such a prestigious society would not only give me an environment where I can improve my character, but it will also give me an experience which will help me gain a leadership position in the future. My intentions while in this society are to gain knowledge on what I can do to better my household as well as my community as a whole. While in this society I will work diligently to make positive changes to my community and school.

Throughout middle school, I participated in NJHS. I enjoyed the club and my advisors always recommended that I join NHS in high school. I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here. Leadership is one of my greatest attributes, and helping others is a passion of mine. Moreover, I am extremely ambitious, giving my all when completing a task or reaching a goal. My dream is to become a surgeon and I want to engage in the National Honor Society throughout high school and college, as the club will significantly enhance my leadership skills and aid in bettering myself as a person. When asked why do you want to be in National Honors Society, many things came to my mind. Some being, the awesome volunteer projects, the camaraderie of being in the Society and the joy of being in such a highly regarded club. I want the opportunity to be part of this club because I believe in the activities they participate in and I believe that I am a perfect fit for National Honor Society. Additionally I want to be in National Honor Society because I think it offers up many great opportunities.

Through National Honors Society, I have gained self-confidence, empathy and respect not only for teachers, but also for employees who diligently fulfill their responsibilities. Volunteering allows participants to perceive certain situations from different perspectives and therefore has allowed me to enhance my understanding of the plights teachers and young students may encounter on a daily basis. From grading a gigantic stack of assignments to engaging in mundane tasks such as tearing out multiple worksheets from workbooks, there are many events that occur outside of typical school hours that I would not have been able to witness and learn from had I not been an active member of National Honors Society.
