People should read The Westing Game for many great reasons. For instance, near the ending of the book, there is a huge plot twist that may leave you shocked. This is because of the author's clever way of writing. This then causes the characters in the book and even most readers to spend their time looking for a red herring. At the end, only the most intelligent character is able to figure out this intriguing riddle. However, this is not the only time the book breaks off from standard, mystery writing tropes.

Also, the author does a good job talking about Dr.Armstrong (10,11,12). Even though the suffix gives it away Dr.Armstrong is a doctor. Dr.Armstrong is also pretty wealthy.
