Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15th of 1769 in Corsica, France. He was educated at a military school, then promoted in the year of 1796, being made a French army commander in Italy, where Austria and its allies were omitted to make peace. In 1798, Napoleon overcame Ottoman while ruling Egypt in a proposal to strike at British trade routes with the assistance of India. He was abandoned when his armada was destroyed at the Battle of the Nile by the British. Napoleon then married Josephine de Beauharnais in 1810 in the hopes of a child. When the attempt had failed he then wed Marie Louis as he had the birth of a son named Napoleon François Joseph Charles Bonaparte. In 1821 Napoleon was imprisoned on St.Helena where he died on May 5th. France …show more content…

He then requested peace amongst Europe which established France's power on the continent. In 1803, Britain resumed war with France, as Russia and Austria joined. Britain imposed a naval defeat on the French at Trafalgar so Napoleon changed his plans to invade England and attacked on the Austrian and Russian navies, defeating them at Austerlitz later the same year. He earned lots of land, including occupation of Prussian lands, giving him the potential to rule Europe. The Roman Empire diminished , Holland and Westphalia were created, and over the next five years, Napoleon's loved ones and loyalists were new leaders. In 1810,Napoleon had married Josephine de Beauharnais in the hope of having a legatee. His son Napoleon II was then born a year later by Marie Louise ,the daughter of the Austrian emperor as Josephine could not produce a heir .The Peninsular War began in 1808. French military resources had drawn off over the course of five years. Napoleon's invasion of Russia in 1812 resulted in a disastrous departure. As of March 1814, Paris collapsed . Napoleon went into banishment on the Mediterranean island of Elba. In March 1815 he escaped and progressed his entitlement on France. The Battle of Waterloo ended his brief second reign. The British incarcerated him on the Atlantic island of St Helena, where he died on 5 May
