My Personal Mission Statement
Five Most Important Things In My Life Five of the most important things in my life are my family and friends, my phone, my planner and the supplies it comes with, music, and my religion and faith. Firstly, one of the most important things in my life are my family and friends because they were always there at my best and worst and I know no matter what, I can always depend on them. Secondly, my phone is one of the most important things in my life because it holds all my memories and my thoughts within it. Also, it helps me stay connected to the world around me and helps me stay in contact with my friends. Another important thing in my life is my planner and the supplies it comes with because I’m a very controlling person and I like to control everything that happens in my life, therefore with my planner it makes me feel organized and in control of my life. Additionally, music is also an important thing in my life. Often when I am in a bad mood I always listen to music and it calms me down

First of all, meeting deadlines is one of my skills because everytime I hand in an assignment I always hand it in on the due date. Next, learning to be adaptable in new environments is also a skill I have. In grade nine, the switch from middle school to high school was tough but it helped me learn to adjust to new conditions. Finally, another skill I have is learning to manage my time. When I was younger, I would have a hard time balancing my social life and my school life but now I’m able to prioritize my time and be able to maintain both my social and school
Planning and organizing skills, I enjoy figuring out what is required in getting a job done and working out how and when it can be done. This can be seen in how I develop a personal study timetable and managing time around work and studies.
Before any enormous list of physical things that are significant to me on this earth, the most important thing to me is my family and friends. Each and everyday, I want to remind the people in my life how much I love them every chance I get. It is important to me that they know how special they are to me. I have been blessed to have some extremely amazing people in my life. I want to cherish them and relish in every moment I have with them.
One specific skill was time management. In the fifth grade I was involved in so many extracurricular activities, and believe it or not I had to manage my studies with other outside involvements. I was involved in basketball, track, choir, first communion, boys and girls club, and soccer. I had so many practices that I had to attend throughout that school year, but I had a mindset that school came first. To get the opportunity to do everything I had to develop a great schedule. My mom taught me that there isn’t anything more important than my education, so sports and other family events came second. Another skill I picked up from this award was to be self-dependent in my studies, which meant I didn’t need help anymore. I didn’t need anyone to check my homework, help me study, or help me do my projects and
These skills I know about and use every day. I now need to focus on increasing my score on the lower ranking sets. I need to learn more types of study aids to help with my course work. Also I know I need to work on communication as well. I tend to stay to myself when it comes to course work. I need to develop a better attitude towards communication with my classmates online with course work.
From the SuccessNavagator on the skill that I score the highest on was organization. I believe that I source high on organization was because I always write a to-do list of what homework I need to do and when I need to do it. I usually try to finish the homework three days in advance. I believe that this skill will help me reach my long-term education goal by keeping me on track and focus on the final goal.
The first thing we need to look at is what is a study skill? Study skill is methods and techniques that aid with peoples learning and what you would use in your day to day life at work. Also, these can be viewed as skills as they have to be taught to you, this can be sometimes from an early age and continues through your life because you never stop learning.
I believe that one skill which I have which I am strong at is my communication skills. This is because I am comfortable talking to new people and expressing new thoughts and ideas.
One skill set I have obtained through my upbringing was a work ethic. As I aged, I witnessed my parents continuously working hard to keep the business running and support our family. Often times, my dad would repair appliances when they failed, as we could not afford to hire someone to fix the problems every time they occurred. After restoring the appliances for several hours, he would attend to his regular shift for
Jesus, Football, My friends and Food. Jesus is important to me because he is my lord and savior and gives me my other 3 important things. Football is important to me because I enjoy it and brings me and others together. My friends are important to me bause I feel closer to them then my family most of the time. Food is important to me because its just so good all the
I would say my greatest skill is working hard. I learned this skill from my father who is an immigrant, he taught me with hard work anything is possible. I learned this skill at a young age because my father was dependent on me as his first son. My father too was a hard worker I would hardly see him because he was too busy with work providing for his family.
At this point in my life my purpose is to serve God to the best of my ability. I have done many things that I thought would give my life meaning. At the end of the day it’s about surrender for me. I realize that there are many answers to a single problem. I live the law of love to the best of my ability. These values I have developed from interacting with the world around me and listening to what has worked for those that have gone before me, while trying to capitalize on it. I have been helping my neighbors for some time now and would like to be better at it.
I have a strong work ethic because I am productive and I work at a fast enough pace which helps me manage my time and complete my assignments. A weakness of mine is getting distracted easily. I love to communicate with my friends which is usually the reason why I am behind because I lose focus and stop paying attention. In Language Arts, writing an essay was another weakness of mine because we never got the opportunity to do peer responses and revise our work; but I was able to demonstrate my understanding of figurative language when it came to writing. Another strength of mine which helps me in Language Arts is time management because it helps me keep track of my work and complete assignments on time. These are some skills that are necessary for me to succeed
Also, another skill I have is Gardening, not only do I love it, I'm awesome at it! When I first learned how to garden I grew tomatoes. Everyone else in the gardening class wanted to grow something more extravagant like an enormous apple tree, or spicy jalapenos, but once I got through all of the boring stuff and finally started growing the tomatoes I learned to love it. After a couple months, I decided to start growing a gorgeous green garden. The garden
One of the skills I have learned is time management. While at a competition I have to make sure that all of my school work gets done, and how long it's going to take. For example, one year I had to do a science project over the Eastern Synchronized Skating Championships, and had to work during breaks, and any extra time I could find to make sure I got it done and used my time wisely. At home I can't let skating get in the way of school, homework still must be done even
When I reflect on what matters the most to me I begin to look at what gives me a sense of purpose. Family, country, and believing in myself is what gives me that purpose and is what matters to me. I feel these characteristics are in the make-up of my DNA and what drives me day to day. If I were to pass away tomorrow, I feel in retrospect that I would not have any regrets because I live everyday with the mantra of family first, country second, and believing in myself.
