Professionalism is a characteristic one attainable by a series of conduct that aims towards being the best one can be. This can be reflected by actions such as the way someone talks and walks. The characteristics of a leader would be a perfect example of professionalism. These characteristics are as follows: ethics, responsibility, great habits, desire for knowledge, skills, humbleness, politeness, wisdom, compassion, loyalty, respect and understanding. These are some of the many qualities one must attain towards being professional. The application of these qualities defines the "ism" at the end of professionalism and that for me it indicates the state of being.
