When I was nine, I wrote an essay on what I would do in the future and said I would take any risk and use every opportunity. And now when seven years have already passed I still think the same except one thing, now I know what I want to be successful in. My career aspiration is to become an economical and financial expert. Since I was a little kid, I have always had intrinsic feelings about science and what adults were doing in it. I used to visit my grandfathers’ physics laboratory. It was the most amazing for a five year old to see with instruments that made me admire how sophisticated and intelligent my grandfather must be. He was my inspiration to study science well and get more knowledge. I’m always looking for new things that might expand …show more content…
I was involved in a wide range of diverse activities and subjects. From the age of six I was taking dance, Georgian folk music, piano, and guitar classes and was practicing in football and swimming. Therefore from time to time my interests has been sharpened and it turned out that the mathematics and economics were subjects that attracted me the most. Although I am only 16, I have been in situations which have tested me to see whether I am able to adapt to a new culture and environment. In 2015 summer I was at summer school in Cambridge, UK. Everything was fine until the plane took off and I realized I was completely alone and I didn’t know what to do. During the six hour flight I was thinking about what life would be like during the next three weeks and what I would do. When the plane landed in London I felt casual as I did every time in my hometown because of the first guy who I met in the UK. He was extremely sympathetic taxi driver and his warm welcome helped me to quickly adapt to the new environment. When I arrived at summer school every single person was from different country with unknown story behind but there was nothing to worry about because we had to live as a family for three weeks. The experience gave me the confidence and ability to know that I can live in another
As a student of psychology, my career assessments test showed me many options for my career goal path. For starters, my career interest profile results are broken into six main categories which are: social, artistic, investigative, enterprising, realistic, and conventional. According to my results, my career matches are as followed: preschool, primary, secondary, and special education teacher. I am 28% social, 22% artistic, 17% investigative, 11% enterprising, 10% realistic, and 9% realistic. According to my Phoenix results, the salary ranges in this area between $18,140 - $57,530. Individuals who are social likes to help individuals in instructing, giving a restorative guide, giving data for the most part, avoids utilizing machines, devices, and animals to accomplish an objective. Moreover, people who are social is awesome at teaching, exhorting, nursing, or giving information; values people and dealing with social issues; and sees self as to be helpful, welcoming, and dependable. My profession normally includes working with, speaking with, instructing individuals, and causing or giving administration to others. When I think of my career goals, I ask myself what I want to accomplish in life. I know that I love helping patients and families, and I want to continue to do that. I always am changing my mind on what I want to do after my BSN. I don’t know when or if I will get my masters or continue to work at the bedside for a while. I love what I do and what I do for other people and families. Working in the critical care unit feels like home. I get to do what I love.

Since childhood, I have tried my best to find something in which I excelled, a path in life that I could turn into a career choice. However, it had not been as simple as I thought for as I developed, matured and refined my academic skills, my passions changed as I gained a love for the sciences. Initially, I wanted to explore a career in detective work, which I pursued for two years. Then at age fifteen, I had my heart set on pursuing law, primarily because I wanted to help people, especially those who had been faced with injustice. However, as I enrolled and completed more advanced and challenging Science classes, I began to develop a passion for pursuing a career in science and its related field. The constant that remained true, though, is that in every career path I desired, I knew that I wanted to help others.
I was raised in a military household; both of my parents were in the U.S. Navy. Growing up I was taught proper discipline, a sense of order, and a firm belief in right and wrong. These skills allowed me to be able to conduct my life with a sense of purpose and gave me the confidence to accomplish anything I set my mind to. I myself spent 5 years in the U.S. Navy and I am definitely a better person for it. The military taught me many essential life skills that I feel give me a unique perspective and advantage when it comes to accomplishing my goals. The military taught me self-discipline and instilled high standards for everything I do. I learned teamwork and leadership skills, stress management, and global awareness. The military teaches you

Throughout all my years of education in elementary, math was the subject I hated the most, but now that I got older I realized that this subject has started to grow on me. Not until like about the 7th grade was it that I realized that math is really useful in life and I also realized that I wasn’t bad at math. The reason math interests me is because I like a challenge, if I don’t understand an equation I try to find out the steps myself and try to break down the steps in the equation in order to comprehend the problems. By doing this I ended up improving my analyzing skills. Because of my interest in math I gained an interest in the field of engineering. I looked further into the field of engineering by shadowing a mechanical engineer. I reached
As I started my junior year in high school, I heard my peers discuss their future goals. One wanted to be a physician, another wanted to be an aerospace engineer, and another wanted to work with the FBI. At the time, I was conflicted about choosing a future career. I have considered many career options, ranging from an accountant to a health nutritionist. My parents were not proud of the options that I picked, however. They wanted me to become a doctor or choose another occupation that is famed, like my peers’ chosen careers. Believing that my career options were not as “prestigious,” I started to get discouraged.
Over the past ten years I have had the opportunity to connect with many people on a professional level when either I or my audience have joined the location I was working in at the time. Typically, when trying to connect I like to share a story where I take them though my career path as well as share a little about my personal life. This story comes to mind when I think about what drives my desire to go back to school and earn a bachelors degree. It really comes down to my family and a clear career direction that will allow me to spend more time with my family. I am now a husband and father of three children who are now involved in various extracurricular actives. My career path has been anything but standard. This has provided we with varying experiences which has resulted in valuable skill sets, however they are not
Early in my educational career I realized that I want to help people, not necessarily as a medical doctor or nurse but in a field that is unfortunately still undermined— psychology. As an adolescent, I struggled with my own mental illness. I felt completely isolated for years until I finally sought out help and began taking steps to become a better version of myself. My aspirations are to help individuals reach their full potential despite debilitating mental illnesses and help provide suicide prevention within my community. I graduated from high school with my AA degree from Eastern Florida State College and now I am working towards my B.S in psychology with a minor in cognitive sciences. There are two routes I see myself doing afterwards,

Choosing a career in medicine is my first career choice, and in many ways it is the only career choice I want. From professional athletes that we see on television, to the educators that have taught me and many others through the years, they all have committed themselves to extensive study. They have practiced countless of hours to master their individual skill set for their profession. I see myself following in the same footsteps, but as a pediatrician. I want to also master the skills that it takes to be a great doctor. It may not be simple and the outcome may not be near, but with extensive studying and practice I want to achieve and master the set of skills of pediatric diagnosis and eventually improve the medical process. This is my
