Asking candidates the same questions This makes it fairer for everyone as their answers can be compared more easily. It is not oaky to ask candidates the same questions as they are unfair to them. 2. Working according to the agreed ways means following the organisation’s policy and procedures in relation to pressure areas. It also means following the individual care plans and respecting the instructions in place. For example making sure a resident is turned every two hours, applying Cavilon cream on areas; fill in turning charts, prompt fluid intake. Under the duty of care a care assistant must always be aware of and raise concerns regarding possible pressure areas. Always record information in care plans accurately and in confidentiality.
“All the cells take in and use nutrients and other substances from their surroundings. Cells of the intestine and the kidney are specialized to carry out absorption. Cells of the kidney tubules reabsorb fluids and synthesize proteins. Intestinal epithelial cells reabsorb fluids and synthesize protein enzymes” (McCance & Huether, pg. 2).

We used DRI-OCT1 (Topcon Inc., Tokyo, Japan) based on swept source OCT technology, with a scanning speed of 100000 A-scans/s. The scan protocol was a 3D volumetric macular scan 6x6 mm square containing 512 x 128 A-scans. The center wavelength of the probe beam was 1060 nm. This long-wavelength probe enables deep choroidal penetration. The axial resolution of this system is 8 μ in tissue. Automated built-in software was used to create a choroidal thickness map of 6X6 mm from 128 images of each 3D data set. The consecutive en face images between RPE and chorioscleral interface were constructed using software co-developed with Topcon.21
We all know that communities are as unique as the people who live in them, and because of this, we must realize that the fire departments that serve these communities must be unique as well. Likewise, there is no cookie-cutter formula for what type of fire department best suits a community, for there are many factors to take into consideration. For example, the size of the community, the economic stability, and service demands of the community; and depending on these, a community may be adequately protected with a volunteer, combination or professional department (Brunet, DeBoer, & McNamara, 2001).
