SOMERSET PA (AP) -- A. Wolf took the stand today in his own defense. This shocked and stunned the media who predicted that he would not testify in the brutal double murder trial. A. Wolf is accused of killing (and eating) The First Little Pig, and The Second Little Pig. This criminal trial is expected to be followed by a civil trial to be brought by the surviving Third Little Pig. The case has been characterized as a media circus.
His testimony is transcribed below:
"Everybody knows the story of the Three Little Pigs. Or at least they think they do. But I'll let you in on a little secret. Nobody knows the real story, because nobody has ever heard my side of the story. I'm Alexander T. Wolf. You can call me Al. I don't know how this

And right in the middle of the pile of straw was the First Little Pig - dead as a doornail. He had been home the whole time. It seemed like a shame to leave a perfectly good ham dinner lying there in the straw. So I ate it up. Think of it as a cheeseburger just lying there. I was feeling a little better. But I still didn't have my cup of sugar . So I went to the next neighbor's house. This neighbor was the First Little Pig's brother. He was a little smarter, but not much. He has built his house of sticks. I rang the bell on the stick house. Nobody answered. I called, "Mr. Pig, Mr. Pig, are you in?" He yelled back."Go away wolf. You can't come in. I'm shaving the hairs on my shinny chin chin."
I had just grabbed the doorknob when I felt another sneeze coming on. I huffed. And I snuffed. And I tried to cover my mouth, but I sneezed a great sneeze.
And you are not going to believe this, but the guy's house fell down just like his brother's. When the dust cleared, there was the Second Little Pig - dead as a doornail. Wolf's honor. Now you know food will spoil if you just leave it out in the open. So I did the only thing there was to do. I had dinner again. Think of it as a second helping. I was getting awfully full. But my cold was feeling a little better. And I still didn't have that cup of sugarr for my dear old granny's birthday cake. So I went to the next house. This guy was the First and Second Little Pig's brother. He must have
The theme of the story, "The Three Little Pigs," is that hard work pays off. For example, after the first two pigs built their house out of straw and sticks, "[t]he wolf huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house in" (Trotter 3). This part of the story is important because it shows that the first two pigs didn't work hard, which ended in their houses being devastated by the wolf. Moreover, their lazy thinking has caused their house to become a pile of rubble. Another example of the theme, hard work pays of, is "[t]he wolf huffed, and he puffed and he blew and blew... Until he passed out" (6). This shows that the third, hard-working pig, made his structure so patiently and well, that it paid off in the end. Furthermore, the hard work protected
One story that can be directly compared across cultures is The Three Little Pigs, originating in England, where it was first printed in the 1840s, but the story dates back much further. In the original English version, the first two little pigs are devoured by the big bad wolf, who is finally outwitted by the last pig who lures the wolf down the chimney into a pot of boiling water. The Japanese version, however, ends with the same fate for the wolf, but differs greatly in how the wolf reaches that fate. Unlike the English version where the third pig outwits the wolf on his own, the Japanese version tells of how the first two pigs escaped their flimsy homes and worked together with the third little pig to defeat the wolf.
How would that change the story? According to Al Wolf, all he ever really wanted from the pigs was a cup of sugar so that he could make his grandma a birthday cake. His intentions were not to eat the pigs, but they died when their houses fell down, and what a waste of a "perfectly good ham dinner." So, he ate them anyway. Was the wolf really so bad after all, or were the workers of the local newspaper so short on articles, that they needed something juicy to fill the gaps? According to Al Wolf, the reporters "figured a sick guy going to borrow a cup of sugar didn't sound very exciting. So they jazzed up the story," and by doing so, they created a monster out of the wolf. These examples show the twist on writing that Scieszka uses to give his readers a new way of looking at a well-known story.
A point of view is a position in which the story is being told, but did you know that there is two point of views in The Three Little Pigs and The True Story of the Three Little pigs? The two stories have views changed by how the author tells them. In the story of the pigs it’s in third person, but in the wolf’s view he just wants sugar and see’s them as a snack so it’s first person. The story of “The Three Little Pigs” and “The True story of the Three Little pigs” have different point of views that help the readers understanding of the wolf.
As they walk up the driveway, he hears a dog start to bark and run toward them. The boy says, “ This is Toby! He's my own dog. I feed him, bath him, even sleep with him” He sits there, staring at the boy laughing and petting toby. He thinks about how his mom used to play and rub on him too. He then is suddenly interrupted by the boys mom. She shouted, “ Ronnie, who the hell is this boy? He ain’t one of your school friends?” The boy responds, “ No momma, this here is some boy I found in the woods.” His mom responded, “ Okay, y'all boys need to get in the house and clean up, suppers in thirty minutes.” He stood there frozen, supposed by the fact that the mom didn't think twice about some random boy coming over. The boy then waved him down to go inside and clean up. When he went upstairs, he noticed all the deer heads on the wall. Once he got upstairs, he ran to he sink. He put his hands into a bowl, scooping water into his mouth. Once he got some water, he took his clothes off and hopped into the tub. He sat there, contemplating why he didn't turn around. What made him think it was better to run away from his
It was Thanksgiving dinner all the kids were outside playing” over here over here! “ roared the kids while all the adults were conversing. We were all having a marvelous time then suddenly that’s when it occurred. We all went inside to the strong aroma of smoke. We entered the kitchen to find that the turkey was burning ” quick somebody get the turkey!” yelled Aunt Marge . Mom quickly rushed to get the turkey out,but when she opened the oven nothing but smoke poured out. She took out the turkey but we all knew there was nothing that could be done. It was burnt to a crisp, it was smoking like a chimney .So it was all thanks to the leftover ham in the fridge that we had Thanksgiving dinner. But even though dinner was ruined we all had a good
He looked down at his friends and family with a big piggy smile on his face. The pig began stomping around. He crushed their homes as he bounced around. He destroyed their fences and food crops. The pig's friends and family stared at him in horror as they watched him destroy their homes and all their belongings. They cried for him to stop, but instead, the big pig began stomping on them. He crushed their bodies under his gigantic hooves. The other animals screamed with terror as they watched their friends and family be murdered by their beloved pig. And if that wasn't enough, the pig began devouring their corpses. One by one, he killed and ate all of his friends and family, until there was nothing left but the old ruins of their homes. The pig finally settled down on some grass, satisfied and full and as big as can be. He finally has some time to relax after his long journey, and he accomplished all he wanted to do with his life. The pig was finally
And then, the fox huffed and puffed and nothing happened. He kept huffing and puffing, and not before long, he became dizzy. He couldn’t blow down the goddamn brick house down. What a stupid wolf, he could’ve just broke the door down. Anyways, the crummy wolf got really mad, but his brain couldn’t think of anything to do. Eventually the wolf tried to jump in through the chimney that was one helluva stupid decision. The 3 little Pigs put a pot in the chimney, and that idiot wolf jumped in.
Three Lil Pigs is a restaurant located at 146 S Main Ave, Pine Mountain, GA 31822. The business image does not say much. The design of the brick-and-mortar facility is too small, and from looking at the structure of the physical facility, I would not think that the inside of the facility would be inviting. The building is really small but there are a few outdoor tables, which lets me know I should get a to go order, or eat quickly.
It was a bright sunny day when a boy came out to play, he had a funny name it was trey. His friends Alec and Fey played catch all morning long when they noticed a strange spotted thing. As they got closer it was a lonely little dog looking for food. Alex, Trey, and Fey brought it inside and fed it some steak they gave it some water and named the little dog spotter. Because the dog had little black spots. The next week they looked around but couldn't find the dog. They searched high and low all throughout their house but they could not find their new dog spotter. When they went outside to search they noticed they forgot to close their backyard gate. Alec and Fey cried, but Trey the oldest kept on looking for he knew he would find their new
It was just a normal Sunday evening back when my brothers and I lived back with my parents. We lived in a small town in Spain. We all decided that it was time to move away from our parents and go on and live our lives. Now there is probably something you don’t know about my family and I. In the old fashioned story of the Three Little Pigs, the big bad wolf is just some wolf looking for a nice meal, which I think is a disgrace to my family and I. The wolf was a great family friend, and he actually did not like the fact that we were moving away. He actually tried
My second reason for why the wolf is evil is that he eats two of the pigs. If you thought the blowing down the house part was bad well it's nothing compared to this. Not only did he blow down the houses he eats two of the pigs, two! They had a life to live and the wolf eats them. That’s my second reason for why the wolf is evil.
Wow I had a great night sleep. When I was walking out of my house to get some water from the well. I looked at my mail box and I saw that my red flag was up. I thought that was peculiar because I just moved here and I don't know anyone that could possibly give me mail. So as I went to open my mailbox I saw that I got a letter, it was from Jack. When I opened it, it said, Dear Jim, Please pass this message to the other two pigs. I would have written them a letter but they didn't build a mailbox. Anyway I hope you all are living in wonderful new life. I just want to let you know that I have been thinking for a while and I’ve decided to give you all pay back. I would eat you but since I am a vegetarian and you are considered bacon I can't. I am going to destroy your precious new houses and make every day of your lives worser then the day before. Sincerely, your former friend
Pigs are unable to move in their cages. The baby pig ears, tails are cut off and their teeth are chopped off to prevent them from harming other pigs. They are castrated without any pain killer. The baby pigs are given antibiotics to promote rapid growth. Their body grows, so fast, the legs become crippled. Many pigs are ill, but are kept alive to be shipped off to slaughter to get a profit. The pigs that did not make it to slaughter are shot with a gun to prevent them from eating the farmer’s feed. Pigs are abused by beating them with a gate rod to be moved from one place to another. Most pigs arrive at the slaughter lame or dead from the crowdedness during transporting. Pigs are electrically shocked to move on the killing floor of the slaughtering
To begin, the third little pig is extremely clever because he outwits the wolf numerous times. For example, the wolf asks the pig to meet him at various locations to get apples or turnips. Well aware of the wolf’s
