The Three Separate But Equal Branches

As everyone knows, the Government is divided into three separate but equal branches. They are called the executive, the judicial, and the legislature branch. The Constitution created these branches to divide the power among them instead of one group having all the power. All of them have specific functions and they also have the power to check one another’s power because they use the check and balances system.
