Gun control has been a big topic for the past decade in the united states. These debates will rise and fall time in and time out after something horrific happens in the state. Anti-Gun supporters do not realize that it is extremely difficult to regulate something in the states that is a big portion of our economy.Would stricter gun laws change anything? So far statistically It has been proven otherwise one must consider how a citizen would defend themselves when they are faced with terror. How will they defend themselves if there are restrictions on guns? It seems that some states that have stricter gun laws are where the most shootings and also where more terrorists attack take place. It seems that gun control is only pushed when shootings gradually get worse and worse. But why are these anti gun groups not speaking up when police brutality happens or when a racial hate crime occurs? Anti-Gun groups do not look at the bigger picture and try to understand that it is more than guns. Gun control almost plays Zero role in murders

Since then there are debates going on either there should be gun control bills. There have been high quantities of passing’s including guns in the United States, and individuals are starting to stand firm against the savagery and search for approaches to take care of the issues. Firearm control is exacting stricter and more brutal directions on owning and conveying guns, which numerous individuals accept is the answer. On the other hand it could be seen as criminals still finding some way of getting guns albeit through smuggling or some other way of obtaining guns which would lead to more issues because Americans wouldn 't be able to defend themselves. The issue of gun control has been a very controversial topic and has been going on for many years.

The issue of gun is always controversial. Firearm can be used as defending or an assaulting weapon. In United States, firearm increase the rate of homicide, suicide and gun violence, which can harm and murder people. Moreover, taking away people’s gun will not work effectively because the murder and criminal will find another ways to get guns. Also, the black market will appear for the people who cannot get guns from regulated markets. In addition, if regulated guns are banned, murderers may use other tools as weapon including pencil, knife, and a car. The government should not take away the gun from gun owners, while increasing the difficulty of the background check to screen gun buyers is the most effective way. In fact, most people do not want to give up a weapon that can defend their family and property in the long history of legalized gun of United States. Gun control or heavily regulated gun laws is not suitable for residents because people need firearm to protect their family, self-defense, and against the murderers who may often seek buying illegal guns from black market. Firearm can be used as protection in our life.

“We the people in order to form a more perfect union.” This is the beginning of the infamous Preamble of the United States Constitution. The Constitution is the one and only document this great country’s foundation was built upon. The Preamble is one of the few parts of the Constitution that many Americans know, and can even often recite the entire thing, however, the remanding part is often looked over and unknown. One part, a very important one, is the second amendment. This amendment states that “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of the Free State, their right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” (The NRA). This one, small part of the Constitution gives Americans the right to keep and bear Arms, and has been under fire in more recent years. Not only are many American citizens demanding to amend this amendment, the Government has stepped over it completely, all in the hopes to abolish the use of guns among American citizens. The Founding Fathers put each and every part of The Constitution in place for a reason; to protect the American people’s rights. The issue with gun bans is that they prevent the citizens who properly register and use their firearms, from the having the ability to use them for self defense, giving the advantage to the criminals (Strossel). In the United States today there are many different policy issues that are associated with individual’s different hobbies and interests, and lots of these policy issues have some legal components to them. For me a policy issue that comes to mind would be Gun Control, because I am a gun owner who is a supporter of the second amendment. With shootings and other gun related trouble happening all over our country those who create and maintain our gun laws have a big responsibility to take care of. The policy issue of gun control has both people who support the right to bear arms, while there are others who think all guns should be done away with, and this dispute should be something people care about in a legal context.

As we engulf ourselves in politics for the election year, there has been frequent source of debate between the candidates; gun control. In the words of Patrick J. Charles of Britannica, gun control is “…politics, legislation,and enforcement of measures intended to restrict access to, the possession of, or the use of arms, specifically firearms.” Even taking away the political importance, gun control is a hot topic that is in every Americans mind as fear for personal safety is on the rise. This has been created by increased media attention and coverage of mass shootings, which seem to occur more frequently as time goes on. This has lead to the question: can we use laws and enforcement to reduce the violence? It shows creating laws to control or ban the purchasing and use of firearms is the most probable to be the solution to reducing gun violence while coinciding with proper firearm education.

The controversy surrounding the need for more gun control in the United States is a hot topic. Do we need more gun control? What about the 2nd Amendment? What about crime, protection, the mentally ill? There is a great amount of gun violence in this country and every time something happens, the argument starts up again. Maybe it is time to do more. Adam Gopnik wrote about this subject in his essay “Shootings”. His view is that there needs to be better gun control laws.

Getting arrested yesterday was not the highlight of my week. I was hungry; so I went to Wal-Mart get some charcoal, lighter fluid, and steak. I put the charcoal in the grill and the lighter fluid on the coals. I got a little lighter fluid on my arm, but I didn’t pay it much attention. I lit the match and threw it on the coals. I looked down and my sleeve was on fire. I was waving my arm in the air, trying to put it out. Then here they come the police pulled in and tackled me to the ground and putting my sleeve out. The cuffed me and put me in the back of the cop car. They had charged me with waving a firearm in the air. This is a very humors joke about guns, but gun control is a very big topic occurring the in the United States.

Gun control is a topic that has gained a lot of momentum lately. There have been several horrific tragedies that have occurred over the last few years. The debate continues whether access to guns is directly linked to crime and violence and identifying the steps needed to prevent such tragedies in the future. The public and those in public office have been reviewing whether more stringent controls on gun purchases and on gun owners with a mental illness should be implemented and what these controls might look like. A person’s mental health should be considered when purchasing a firearm because of incidents like Sandy Hook.

Gun Control is a hot debate topic, where people have been divided into two different viewpoints. The majority of states have supported their colleges to carry guns in case of a mass shootout. While the majority of liberals and democrats oppose carrying guns on school property, some states like Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Mississippi have already passed the law to allow students to carry concealed weapons on campuses to protect themselves. The majority of people present their arguments that Gun shouldn’t be allowed on campuses. A campus is a place where students gain knowledge. It is not a battlefield or a place where students should fear their classmates. These days’ people are being irrational about mass shootouts. Media also has a huge responsibility on this issue, and media has the power to provoke fear among people. There are many solutions to fix these problems. Deploying more security could be a solution; it would also create more jobs. Simply handing guns to teachers and students won’t solve the problem of mass shootouts. There might be some students or faculty members who are same minded as shooters. The other solution which could be effective is deploying more police officers onto campuses.

Over the past few years, the issue of gun control has been widely discussed. You surely have heard the phrase, “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people” uttered and i wholeheartedly support this statement. It is important to treat guns responsibly so they do not end up in the wrong hands. I believe gun control violates our inalienable rights. Another piece of our liberty will surely be taken away if guns are banned, and socialism and totalitarianism will be right around the corner. An added protection against tyranny by the government is a possession of guns by the general public.
