The Most Memorable Event In My Life

There are many times in our life that shape who we are, most of these “moments” go unnoticed. Things happen and change us in an instant so we often don’t remember these “moments” simply because they do not come across as something memorable. They just happen. If you’re lucky enough, you can remember this defining moment, and be able to reflect on this moment in a time of need, to remind yourself of the long journey that got you where you are at today.

The most memorable thing that happened to me would have to be when I got to see my favorite sports team play, the Detroit Tigers. This was my first time ever watching them play and I was excited to see what I was about to encounter. It was a hot summer day when we went to Comerica Park, when we went to go see them play. Our seats we right on the first base line, a perfect spot for a foul ball to come my way. My most memorable moment of my life so far was the death of my grandfather about 4 years ago. My Grandfather was 78 and was my number one supporter of all my decisions. He did not care what I did, as long as i was happy with what i chose to do. Every time i walked into his house he would say (Whats up merdal). To this day I still don’t know what that means or why he gave it me, I just thought it was cool.

The most outstanding moment of my life so far is when i got my first car.It was a cool March morning in Pensacola Florida.I had my drivers test at eight thirty in the morning at the DMV on W street.As i got to the DMV ,we checked in for my appointment we had made.Soon the instructor came out and told me it was my turn.As nervous but as ready as i could be,i followed him out to my car.After he checked to make sure all safety requirement were checked,i began my test.All i could remember was what my parents had told me.¨If you pass your drivers test you will get a car.¨.When i finished my test,i had only missed 9 points.So i went back into the DMV and took my picture for my license.On my way back home my mom said ¨we have something for you.¨.As

The most memorable event in my life was when we moved out from Russia to a country that changes lives and is known as a dream land called the United States of America. When we sat on the airplane that was going toward the United States in August of 2004, we knew our lives are going to be changed in the way we always wanted them to. After twelve years of not going to school and being discriminated by Russian citizens, this moving to a new country was the most amazing, not just in my life generally, but for my entire family as well.

I started playing volleyball in 6th grade. My friend Abagail had wanted me to play for our school, so she would have one friend on the team. From there I wasn’t sure if I wanted to play volleyball. I had never watched volleyball and never played it either.

My friend Austin was in front of me with his loud Chevrolet truck, going swiftly down the road. I was going far slower than Austin and my other friend Olivia was driving behind me. All of this sudden two men stepped out in the road in front of my car. They lived in an old deteriorating trailer. I was shocked, then slowed down quickly, so I would not hit the men. One of them was short and he wore a flat bill hat, an oversized dirty t-shirt with holes, baggy dark pants that were sagging, and had an unshaven scruffy face. The other man was wearing a superhero shirt, jeans, and he had long thin hair, with a thick patchy beard. Both of the men were stumbling around and looking straight at me with anger in their eyes. They appeared to be drunk. At that moment I was terrified, but I knew I had to act calm. I have learned that when someone is angry at you if you are not relaxed, then the person will become even more angry at you. A memorable moment has been being a part of my cousins quinceñera. I was a dama and we had 3 different dances. It was memorable, because I got to meet a lot of different people. We danced to different genre of music. Being a part of her quinceñera was memorable because I got to meet a lot of people from different backgrounds. A memorable event that has happen for me would be how i meet my husband and we had our baby. I first meet my husband when I was thirteen and he was seventeen he was a friend of my dads he would come over all the time and help my dad and his buddies work on racecars. A long time went by and for a few years there was no sign of Dillon When I was sixteen my family and i moved out of Oildale and too the mountains when i turned eighteen i decided i no longer wanted to live there i packed up and moved back to oildale to be a responsible adult.A few weeks of me being back in oildale i went to a party and who happen to be there? It’s all start when my sister and I went to Watson. While I’m doing window shopping, my sister went to buy some stuff. Accidently, in a glance, I saw my sister at the health section. In consciously, I went to her with full of questions, and asked her ‘are you sick?’ Then she turned back to me and answered my question with a question, ‘is this good?’

It was about 6:30 when we left the house, the trip will take about twelve hours to get to Fort Lauderdale from Blue Ridge. My brother and I were hungry so we asked our parents if we could go to chick- fil a to get breakfast, they said yes. After we got chick- fil a we stayed on the road for about six hours during those six hours I went back to sleep to catch up from waking up so early in the morning on a summer day. At about one in the afternoon we stopped to get something to eat. We went to Outback steakhouse and I ordered a big juicy steak that was about the size of my face. When we finished eating my parents quickly paid the bill so we could get back on the road and get there as soon as possible.

It was a bone chilling January night; my mom received a call at about 11:15 PM, a call that changed my life forever. My Aunt June was on the other line. She was crying so hard my mother could barely understand her. Through the sobbing my mom finally understood that Brian, my cousin, had been in a horrible accident and she didn’t know how bad it was. My mother jumped out of the bed after she hung up the phone. She screamed up the stairs at my sister and me; it was a nerve shrilling scream. I could hear fear in her voice. My most memorable childhood event was when I was 15 years old. It was the Fourth of July. A big family vacation a barbeque, over night stay and out of town trip to six flags, and I had a blast the night before me, my mom, sisters and brother packed our bags to stay the night over my cousin house in Goodlettsville ,Tennessee. She had the biggest house ever I thought it was a mansion; six bedrooms two an half bath, a swimming pool, a game/movie room with a nice big kitchen. It was something that I was not use, knowing that we stayed in a three bedroom based on an income apartment on the East side of Nashville.
