The person I admire the most is my mom. Through tough times and good times, my mom has always been my rock. She keeps me stable and under control. She is also there for me whenever I need her no matter what. Not only is she my rock, but every day she will go to work and do her best that way we can have everything we need. She understands that there are days that are going to be tougher than others and that you should just keep pushing forward. So, my mom is the best person to have around no matter the problem is and that is what I admire the most about her. Over the years, I have had some tough times and my mom has been my rock. The worst time that I can remember is when my great-grandmother and great-grandfather passed away within months of each other. I always remember being over at their house, along with my cousin, and having a blast. Though, once my great-grandmother passed away it took a toll on the whole family. While we were at her funeral, …show more content…
Sometimes we will get into it and I don’t want to talk to her and just want to leave. Though, I know it isn’t always like that and I love all the memories that me and my mom share, no matter what. Even though, the memories I love the most is when we can just talk about our days and laugh and have a good time. I know that she will always listen to what I have to say and will always help me understand things and I admire her for that. Without a doubt not only is my mom an amazing person but she is the one I admire. She is my rock and can help me whenever I need her and will always be there for me. She works hard to provide for the things we need and will still got out her way sometimes to give me things I ask for. Also, most of my favorite memories always involve her and I wouldn’t want it any other way. So, when I get asked who I admire and why I will always say my mom because it’s the truth and she is an amazing
I consider my mother to be the most important person in my life because she has always been the rock in my family. She raised my two sisters and me to be independent, educated, and well-rounded individuals with little to no help from her family or my father. My mother learned at a young age that if you want something you must get up and find a way to achieve it for yourself. She worked two jobs to pay her way through college and always told my sisters and me that college was not an option, so she made sure we all
My mom has been through a lot with me she got me healthy even if she was sick during the time I was a baby, She has helped me with my reading and writing disability and has pushed me to do my best. She is a strong confident woman that is loving she loves to attend to people and has a great smile. She has shown me that even if times are hard you have to bring your head up and raise it high. I maybe a mama’s boy but my mom is one of my greatest role models and people I admire.
While, my mother has also been a significant individual in my life, my grandmother has always been my confidant, someone I could go to whenever I was confused or needed guidance, and she always had the answers. Whether it was putting alcohol on a scrapped knee or lending a shoulder to cry on, I could count on her to be there during my most precious moments. The tough love has also
My mother is my greatest influence for many reasons. She supports me and showed me that success comes from hard work. She inspires me and taught me to always believe in myself. My mother has always been my hero. She helped me through all rough times in my 13 years of life. I actually believe that if it
Growing up my mom was the only parent in my household, so naturally we were a very close family. My mom took care of all of us. She always made sure my siblings and I had everything we needed in order to be successful. She cooked, clean, worked, etc., she really was a super mom. Whenever I had a problem with something or needed to talk to someone she was always there for me. My mom gave
As we grow up throughout life, we hold onto many heroes as they have impacted our life. Looking into my personal life, my hero consists of my mother, Darla Linden. She defined a hero as “a person stepping up in a situation without thinking they also are in harm 's way”(Linden, Darla). Throughout my lifetime my mom has been there for me since day one and has helped nurtured me.. She sacrifices many things for myself and for my family by providing us with our daily needs. I can always count on her to point me in the right direction by pursuing my dreams and wishes. I admire her caring heart and faithfulness the most because she would drop anything instantly to help someone else in need. She supports me in all of my extra curricular activities and motivates myself to bring out my full potential. I get inspired by her courageous character by never backing down to a challenge and always finishing through. When I asked my mom who she picked as her hero she said, “the service men and women of all branches who fight for our country”(Linden, Darla). They provide us with safety by sacrificing
For this and many other reasons my mom was my hero. She was tough, but also compassionate. Driven, but also fun and funny. Competitive, but also
I knew that my mother needed a solid support system and optimism in the atmosphere, so that is what I gave her. My mom would struggle with making meals like she always used to, found it hard to go to my school activities, and seemed to be a completely different person because she was so physically drained. It was incredibly hard to see my mom in so much pain. I would stay home to be with her because I hated to leave her alone. My mom getting cancer made it hard for me to focus in school, sports, and I failed to be a typical teenager by not being with my friends very often.
The person that I have great admiration for is my mother. She has such a great quality of love, forgiveness, sincerity, helping others in need, and has a great outlook in life without being so negative. 2.
Its tough you know, knowing that you know your mom looks up to her mom so much but she knows that she's going to pass away soon. Thats one of the reason why my mom takes so much pride in cooking and everything she does. My grandmother is a very special person, not just because she is my grandma but because she made my mom who she is and my mom made me who I am today. I wish my grandmother could live with us so my mother would be more happy and maybe have some comfort knowing that my grandma is here safe and in a healthy condition.
When I am having troubles of my own and need someone who will truly listen, she gives me great advice whether I like the outcome or not. She has guided and molded my sister and I into young ladies who know their self worth and who will not back down from anything. I have always looked up to my mother because she is strong as an ox, and by that I mean mentally, physically, and emotionally. She is simply this compared to any one I have ever met. As I have grown each day I follow her and pay attention to the things she does because one day I hope I can become at least half as great as she is. I say half because honestly, I don’t know if anything can beat
When I was little i had to move to Mexico with aunties My mom was with me. She was like a dad to me too. She was always there for me. we moved to a scary place were not that many people live. My mom and me lived with my aunties me and my cousins would always fight. My mom would always be stressed because I would always fight with them. Even though i would always fight with them We were still really close. We would look after each other all the time. If one of us was in trouble we would help each other out and fix the problem together.
My mom is literally my best friend she has always been by my side she always admit when she wrong she has always been there for me. My mom had stage 3 to 4 breast cancer she had found out very late and didn’t know she had it but she always had a pain in her chest that she didn’t know what it was but now she do. She beat it but now it return so i know she not going to lose faith in fighting that’s just something about her. My mom is hard working woman she does it all by herself when she needs to be done for her kids some day i hope to live up to be half the mother she is. Sheila Ann Hudley is my hero for all she do and does for me and how she continue to fight to still be here for me as my mom.
I can still remember vividly the day my mother passed away. My mother passed away at a critical point in my life when I was seventeen years old from a short term illness. She was sick for a week and I remember thinking this could be serious, however, my mother declined to go to the hospital because of the distance and financial hardship. I had loss my father when I was three years old, so my mother was a single mother. I have step sisters and brother, but I was not particularly close to them. Losing my mother was a defining moment in my life for it changed my life irrevocably. I was devastated, but I had to become strong, proactive and it spurred me to choose a new career path.
Over time, there have been several people who have influenced various aspects of my life, based on their personal characteristics, accomplishments, and values. I have been privileged to have had numerous teachers and professors who I respect for their patience and intelligence. There are artists that have inspired me by their natural talents and original creativity. I value many political leaders, who have inspired me by their contributions to society, and their ability to change our futures. Of all the people I have encountered in my life, the person I admire most is my father.
