The human race hasn't explored the Moon completely, we need to explore and take note of everything that the moon has to offer to us, The moon can be a very helpful sign of a new way to be able to farm and perhaps live there. We need to discover every detail that the moon has, such as the moon’s ground, and try to experiment on farming. I think that the NASA should do experiments on the moon, instead of making ways to reach more further, which there's nothing wrong with that, but this is when we should start taking notes, and find out things that we can do to be able to use that plant for a use, instead of just watching it. In the beginning of the book, the author specifically mentions that only thirty percent of adults believe that the landing was staged, meaning the author is trying to convince the rest of the adults in the country, who are the audience of the book. Also, the book contains historical context detailing how rockets originated to give the readers information of how space rockets started before diving into the moon landing speculation. Not only did Apollo 11, the first successful mission in landing man on the moon, affect future space discovery, it impacted the world, by helping people understand how much they can be capable. Since then, we have found that an infinite supply of knowledge and resources await us just outside our atmosphere. Today, however, critics are beginning to argue more and more that the cost of space exploration is too high, and therefore new technological developments should be left to the private sector. Whether funded privately or by the government, funding of space exploration is imperative because NASA is essentially the only agency with the technological capabilities to support aircraft manufacturing, air safety and air transportation. Space exploration has also resulted in remarkable innovations that has played a key role in aeronautics research, preventative medicine, and allows scientists to study asteroids, along with other space debris and their impacts on Earth.

Planning for the Apollo Space Program began in 1957 and the program ended in 1972. The Apollo Space Missions increased our understanding of the moon. This was a huge step in space exploration and much preparation had gone into it. Apollo 8 orbited the moon, but did not test a lunar lander, and Apollo 9 tested a lunar lander while orbiting earth. After achieving the goal of getting man to the moon, the Apollo program continued to enlarge our understanding of the moon. Apollo missions 12 and 14 installed seismic stations on the moon’s surface. This led us to the discovery of “moonquakes”, which are essentially earthquakes on the moon’s surface.

One of the traffic accomplishments we did, was that we were the first to land a man on the moon. It sparked an uprising, and gave our nation great pride. But, in the end, it's thanks to the chivalrous astronauts, the perilous mission, and their legacy, that we succeeded.

Although humans have been looking up at space for thousands of years, the physical exploration of this frontier has been only going on for the past few decades. Our current understanding of space is unparalleled to any time before in our history, but we still only know a small fraction of what there is to learn. Governments around the world spend about $40 billion dollars a year (Rockefeller, 2010) hoping to undertake tasks such as “human exploration of the solar system” to discovering the origins of life itself (Tatarewicz, 2009, p. 531). Recently, the private sector has also shown interest in space exploration in order to engage in profitable activities such as harnessing minerals from asteroids. Although it is easy to debate about the benefits and negatives of space exploration in its entirety, it is simpler focus on one aspect of it - the direct effect it has to those down on Earth. Rather than trying to decide whether or not going to other planets is worth it, this paper will argue about the value of the terrestrial benefits of space exploration.
