Nestle founded in 1866 by Henri Nestle is a Swiss company . Henri used his name, which means ‘little nest’, in both the company name and the logotype. Since it began over 130 years ago, the nest which symbolizes security, family and nourishment, still plays a central role in Nestle’s profile. Henri Nestle who was a life saving chemist also an innovative marketer. He used his scientific knowledge to develop products that met consumer wants and needs. He developed a baby formula that saved a child’s life. His product become a success, and it created a demand throughout Europe. Since then, Nestle have expanded around the world and developed a range of products that come out to suit every taste, need and cultural preference.
As Nestle’s popularity steep up, more businesses wanted to merge and become partners with Henri Nestle’s business. From 1866 to 1947, the Nestle Company had gone through several name changes. In 1905, Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co and Farine Lactee Henri Nestle merged. So the …show more content…

Now moving forward to 2003, Nestle has increased the amount of employees to 253,000 people, with RM88 billion in sales. Nestle is increasing the size of their company year by year. In addition, Nestle also has increased the variety in the different products they offer. In December 2014, Nestle announced that they were opening 10 skin care research centres worldwide, deepening its investment in a faster-growing market for healthcare
