The identification and understanding of an individual’s role and that of the other team member’s roles is crucial as is the recognition of how the different roles complement each other and work together.

The current trend is a remote job which is simply working in your office, enjoying being couch-potato! The trend of remote teamwork is booming every year and the dispute around this culture is at its height too.

What is a team work? Team work can be defined as when actions of individuals are brought together for the purpose of a common goal. Each person in a team puts his efforts to achieve the objectives of large group. Teams make efforts to achieve the success but not necessarily the success is achieved every time. Within a team every member plays a role to achieve the team’s objectives. These roles add new and important dimensions to interactions of team members. Participation in group discussions has been a weakness for me, but I have communicated with my PIE group everyday to discuss homework and exams. Although I was not a leader in the classroom, I did serve as leader in my tri-pie and I took initiative to talk to Mrs. McMillan about my speech and group. I believe I deserve a 90/100 in my communication and participation skills.

The purpose of this memo is to prepare for our upcoming team meeting. Recently, there has been some conflict on our team, which negatively affects how we work together. In particular, demographic diversity has been a contentious issue for this team. At Wagner, I learned effective ways to work as a team so both our meetings and team will be more productive and inclusive. I am happy to share with you all what I learned.

By reading all of our group summaries, I was able to identified the important point of all the chapters read. For example, all the chapters mentioned the implementation of a writing workshop in a classroom. Chapter twenty-one explained the challenges that teachers face when they try to run a writing workshop and follow a curriculum. However, the author explains that following a curriculum does not have to get in the way of the writing workshop. The goal of the writing workshop is to establish an ongoing workshop where students will initiate, pursue, and help each other. Another point that was mentioned in this chapter was that it is more important to have variety on writing assignment, than focusing more on spelling and grammar.

My primary objective of 2017 was to become a trusted and integral member of the Glip product team. The key actions I took to accomplish this goal included:

As a professional Civil Engineer, with a dense experience in project management, I would definitely agree with Belbin (Belbin Associates, (2012) that teamwork is the key to success in any project. As stated by Belbin:” A team is not a bunch of people with job titles, but a congregation of individuals,” The best model of teamwork is what is suggested by Dr. Belbin. Caring for the role requirement and fit in with the organization staff. Moreover, the successful project manager is the manager who designs the team members from the cream of the cream available in the organization. As stated by (Prabhakar, G. P. (2008)), the project manager has many responsibilities. Each undertaking has a solitary supervisor. The venture Director is the individual accused of arranging and booking firm and regular administration of task execution. He or she is additionally the individual with most prominent responsibility for the attempt 's prosperity. This individual gets power from the patron and assumes a focal part in every period of the venture 's life cycle, from outline and association to venture close down and assessment and everything in the middle.

Between all phases of this project, there is an overarching theme of teamwork. This class has shown how different people work together. This class consists of undergraduate students, living in different places, different schedules, and different skills and abilities still managing to meet deadlines and prevent any major failures as a class throughout the whole project. A major lesson I learned was how them leader-follower concept in projects. Also, I realized this concept is not as simple as one person is in control and everyone does as he or she says. As I went through this project, I learned that some people simply have no interest in taking the lead and have no problem doing work that is asked of them in a respectful manner. As for myself, I often do not like telling people what to do, nor being told what to do by my peers. However, it appears there must be some leadership and some following throughout parts of this project and not everyone is concerned with having a task assigned to them. This is a lesson that builds our writing process knowledge and I do not believe I could have learned it without hands-on experience and working with other people, such as an organization like the Gloria Gemma Foundation. I believe this is a perfect example of the learning outcome, Discourse Community Knowledge, due to our ability to format a document in accordance with what we believe the Gloria Gemma Foundation is hoping to see and meet their expectations. Along with the Foundation’s expectations, meeting the different groups we worked with standards and expectations was another major part. Such as, the Activities Outside the Gloria Gemma Building group. This team was given the task of determining prices and expenses of outdoor activities and our class had a designed budget format that we were supposed to follow, as a group, and expected to follow the standards we all agreed upon.

Recalling my early days of being athletically gifted, I was a member of my high school basketball team. The team consisted of ten members. To acknowledge taking part in a group, I will have to recall working in the Army as Flight Operations Specialist. The intent of this essay, I will examine the relationship of communication among the members as taking part in a group or team, and to analyze the collaboration factors of how information is processed between each individual.
