The idea of Syrian refugees emerging over to the United States seems to have been the talk for the past few years here in the United States. Although, over the years the argument of whether Syrian refugees should be granted the opportunity to enter the United States or to not to be able to, has always been a tough compromise. For countless of years refugees have been fleeing their homeland to find a new place to call home just to get away from the war. In spite of refugees fleeing the countries, many of the families are having a hard time trying to find new homes. However, the United States has to protect its country from the possible terrorists that the Syrians could bring with them if we allowed them to enter the United States. The civil war over in Syria has Syrians continuing to fight for their lives every day. Syrian refugees should not be allowed to enter the United States for the substantial amounts of attacks that those Syrians could pose.

To begin with, 100,000 Syrian refugees are trying to come to America and some people are considering to let them come into the the county because they believe it is morally correct. Equally important governors of small cities say that allowing this refuges to come to america will give the economy a little boost because they will help bring up the population in the small cities. Accepting refugees from war torn countries has always been something the United States has done, even if it caused some controversy. However, there has never been more controversy on whether or not to accept refugees from Syria. This is because of the terrorist groups in Syria who have continued to execute fatal attacks on Westernized countries, specifically the United States. Refugees are individuals that are being forced to flee from their country of citizenship to another in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. Western society tends to be judgmental towards people who do not look like their own and so it is very difficult for different cultures to be treated fairly. Recently, President Trump implemented a law that band Muslims, due to the stereotypically classifying them as terrorists. Muslims are being classified as others and treated very poorly due to their religious beliefs and instead, that should not be the case. Now, as we go into the beginning of 2016, the world faces a refugee crisis unlike any other, and pressure is being put on many of the the world powers to give Syrian refugees a safe haven inside their countries. However, with taking in these refugees comes risk. America has always been a beacon for immigrants of all races and ethnicities for ages, but with the rise of a new terrorist group, with an obvious vendetta against America, the United States is having a difficult time determining whether or not it is safe to let these refugees into the country. Americans are faced with a decision. We can close ranks and turn helpless people away out of fear, leaving them to die or suffer some other unknown horrible fate, or we can put our fear aside and embrace these people with open yet cautious arms.

In conclusion, I strongly agree and support the ideas of allowing more Syrian refugees to United States since it’s all global responsibility to give them equal opportunities to survive. These refugees suffered from the war and were also the victims of the Islam State and the terror group. We can’t judge someone by his or her religion beliefs or where they came from. Therefore, we should accept and welcome them!

At the moment, Syrian refugees are being subjected to the most precautionary methods when entering the country (Text 3). The Syrians are trying to escape the many violations they are faced with. In Syria, there are many bombings that are killing innocent people. Using precautionary methods based on race shows that America is well on their way to banning the refugees from entering the US. The welcoming of numerous Syrian refugees into America is contentious, likely to cause or is causing an argument. It 's no secret that our President, Barack Obama, made a promise, a year ago, to bring in at least 10,000 Syrian refugees in the next fiscal year. Those who are all for it believe showing our morals, using non-government help, bettering our economy, adding to our diversity, and strengthening our alliance is what will come out of allowing them through. One problem with letting in refugees is the security risk. Refugees are coming in from dangerous countries like Syria, Iraq, and countries in the middle east. The reason they are leaving is because of safety reasons, but how do we know that they are not going to create a safety risk in our country. Why would our great country want to weaken ourselves by letting illnesses and terrorism into our country, especially when they did not help us in the past? The United States should not accept refugees because of many reasons including terrorism, stealing jobs from U.S citizens and bringing sickness and unknown illnesses into our country. Hundreds and hundreds of terrorist attacks have occurred in our country the only blameable menace are us letting in refugees in.
