Endless Summer by Rick Bragg is a story told by an adult through the thoughts and emotions of his younger self telling about his feelings towards summer and growing up, also the adventures he had during that time. In this story the author uses shifts in his writing to show specific feelings and emotions he had towards summer during certain times in his life ,additionally to better show his overall metaphorical idea of growing up.
